"Very concerned to see how I was there with my daughter this morning around 10:30am and was prescribed medication for her constant vomiting since 2am since the previous night , when you see your child in pain and feeling vulnerable and you see how after the doctors gets paid they don’t take even the time to make sure the prescriptions are handle properly since this has not been the first time this happens. I called 5 times to the office verifying with them to please send the prescription since I don’t live close to the office and it’s been raining and thundering very hard and didn’t want to take my daughter out of our home the way she was feeling , finally on the 5th call at 4:30pm there was a girl that answered and said I will speak with the provider to send it ,even though per my insistence the medication finally was sent ,this will be the last time I take my daughter again , Sadly but Enough is Enough , I don’t want to live this experience again with same Dr Merchant’s providers office."

"So 10 days ago I asked them to fill out my daughter’s physical for a sport, they told me it will be ready 2-3 days but I came back 10 days later a worker told me it is not her job to do the physicals but it was her who told me she that it would be ready 2-3 days. And there is only 1 worker? There were out to lunch. So in my opinion, this team is slow, unorganised, and needs to get their stuff together."

"I went on Monday because my son is getting hives all over his body. His eyes are also swollen and itchy. I was also asked if I wanted to get his two year check up done together. When the doctor came he advised Benadryl and calamine lotion. When it came to his two year check up he didn’t check him at all. When I asked about it he gave me a paper showing his height and weight and that’s it. I had to come in today because his hives are only getting worse and more painful. I asked him if we can do blood work to see what’s causing the reaction and he said no. He wanted to send him a steroid cream. So I said no and that I would need another option and he felt some type of way about that. Also, he answered his phone during our visit and it wasn’t even an emergency because we could hear his whole conversation, which I found extremely rude and disrespectful. Also, every time my son has been seen by him he’s always in a rush and when we ask questions he seems bothered by it. I don’t recommend Dr.Merchant for your kids at all. It seems like it’s just all about getting more money."

"I have been taking all my kids there since they were babies my oldest is 24, 17,11,grand baby is 4. I have always had a problem with the Turkey lake office. The staff is rude and lazy and yes they do not answer or return calls. There is no one over seeing this office. Dr.Merchant is not involved. The staff walk over him and talk to him and about him disrespectfully. They will have you waiting all day when you have an appointment and don’t care. They will say they faxed your scripts but the pharmacy never gets them. The turn around for staff is a revolving door. You never see the same people. It’s time for me to get the kids a new physician."
