"I'm a family physician and was appalled at the care my mother received at this place. I went with her to an appointment. She has low medical literacy and did not quite understand what the appointment was for. She told me "something about a cyst". When Dr. Nguyen walked in and asked my mom why she was here she replies " I don't know, my Ob said I had a cyst". He then proceeded to examine her. I stopped him and politely asked if he could explain a bit more why she was referred before he did the exam. He said he would have to look at her chart. Excuse me? You didn't look at the chart before you came into the room? And then you are going to do an exam when you don't know what you are looking for? He immediately became defensive, telling me this was the way he does things. I asked- what did the referral say? His response was "I wish I had a referral paper in front of me." Ok so you don't have a referral or understand why she is here and still want to just do an exam? After some discussion and with my mom's permission he proceeded with the exam and THEN looked at her chart. He ordered a pelvic US. Her OB had already ordered one if he had taken the time he would have seen this. Then he tells my mom she has a rectocele and cystocele but no need to do anything if she does not have any symptoms. My mom just nods. Did she know what that meant? NO. I asked him to explain. And what symptoms should she look for? I had to ask him to explain. I don't know how this guy has been practicing for as long as he has. He had terrible bedside manner and I would not recommend or ever go to him again."

"Dr. Hoa Nguyen has been my OBGYN/Oncologist since 2005. Thanks to his expertise he saved my life. His entire staff is phenomenal from the time you walk in to the time you leave. Elena at the front is so courteous and explains everything. Ashley pleasantly greeted me on my last visit and took vitals and brought me to examining room. She told me Dr. Nguyen will be with me shortly. She popped in again to check on me and said he will be right in. What a ray of sunshine that helps calm your nerves. After exam is completed, I see Marisol as I leave. So nice also. She checked everything and wished me a nice day. But must say they pleasantly surprised me again. I am going for some tests on my breast and Ashley was following up saying she did not receive my MRI report. Well between Ashley and a co-worker they showed me how to share my MRI report with office. Success. Thank you Dr. Nguyen and your entire staff for being so great."
