"Dr. Burgers was referred to us by our insurance company. My aunt was experiencing swelling and developing cyst underneath her right arm and above her right breast area. We were terrified because we immediately assumed it was cancerous. We travel from Palm Beach County to visit her down in the Holy Cross Medical Center. We had a very difficult time finding a surgeon in Palm Beach County that would take on the case. We had visited doctors who only looked at the area; never touched. Dr. Burgers staff greeted us and made us feel welcome at our first appointment, the doctor was very personable and show compassion. We were scheduled for outpatient surgery however she contacted me immediately after the operation to give me an update. That meant everything to me because at that point I realize she was really putting my aunts health first. The care at Holy Cross Hospital was amazing. Dr. Burgers and her staff made sure we were updated daily. My aunt was discharged with the proper medical supplies and home health care. My aunt has been using a wound vac it was the course of wound care order and I'm thankful because the wound is healing beautifully. Our follow up appointment went great. Lorraine, Dr. Burgers assistant is super sweet and I love her hair. I'm thankful we found Dr. Burgers ❤️"
