"Written by my Dad who does not "do" technology! I'm nearly 84 and had such severe BPH for the past 2 years that my prostate was 100% occluded and I have had to endure being catheterised for the entire 2 year period. I booked in to see Dr. Hopkins for the Rezum procedure, which I thought would be a good starting place as it appears to be highly effective, yet - unlike all the other options - is relatively non-invasive and doesn't require a general anaesthetic or hospital stay. When Dr. Hopkins did my initial evaluation, he said that he normally expects an 80% success rate with the Rezum, but that I should only expect a 50/50 chance due to the severity of my condition and the lengthy period of catheterization. Just 3 weeks after the procedure, I was pee'ing on my own for the first time in 2 years, and although it wasn't great, it had improved so much I would have considered the procedure a resounding success (everything is relative!) at that point. However, now - just 5 weeks after the procedure - I am ECSTATIC with the results and cannot believe it. I honestly cannot remember ever having a stronger flow!! I'm going to be honest though, If you're looking for someone to be all soft and fluffy and hold your hand while he tells you everything is going to be alright, this is not your man!! But if you're looking for someone who tells you it straight, without wasting words - which I was - then this is definitely your guy! He may not have the softest 'bedside manner', but from my personal experience, he is extremely talented at what he does. And I'm convinced that - just beneath this rather 'gruff' surface - is a caring man with a big heart. The staff were tremendous and in my opinion, the procedure was extremely reasonable cost-wise. Especially if you look at the alternatives and their potential side effects, hospital stays, etc. One last thing… The Doc told me it normally takes up to 3 months to recover fully from the procedure. In my case, he said it would be more like 5 months (again due to the severity of my condition). Yet, here I am - after ONLY 5 weeks - pee'ing like a young man and back on my kiteboard!! I cannot recommend him enough."

"Dr Hopkins in the best diagnostic urologist in Palm Beach county. He is highly respected by his medical profession and is consulted often because of his skills, knowledge and compassion to patients and their care. Dr Hopkins has cared for my 94 year old mother for years, she was suffering from frequent UTI infections and Dr, Hopkins medically diagnosed the proper medication for her. She is 94 and UTI free of infections. He is a blessing to the medical field and patient care. His office staff are educated and very caring, you are not put on hold or transferred to an operator. Their knowledge of insurance, payment and payment assistance is outstanding. The office reaches out to patients to see how they are doing, at no charge to the patient. What MD office does that in 2021?"

"Dr Hopkins saved my life by doing a radical prostate removal surgery for my cancer. My post-surgical recovery has been very good and although I have some issues, they are normal ones for this type of surgery. The doc visited me in the hospital post surgery every day to be sure I was ok and recommended a good facility for radiation.
