"I cannot express how pleased I am with my experience at John Hopkins OBGYN. Every step of the way I was treated so well. All of my questions and concerns were answered throughout my pregnancy. The whole staff from front desk/checkout desk to the nurses and doctors were all so kind and accommodating. My primary doctor was Dr. Michael and she was phenomenal. She made sure as a first time mom that I was informed and comfortable with the process. Dr. Taylor delivered my boy and I cannot be more thankful for her. I had complications arise during delivery and I’m so happy she was the doctor on call that day. She was encouraging and advocated for me every step of the way. I don’t know how we would’ve ended up if that wasn’t the case. Her post partum care has been superior. You can tell she really loves her profession and she is perfect for it. Thank you John Hopkins OBGYN!"
"Before attending appointments I had some spotting and called in concerned. The answering service would not transfer me to the on call doctor being I wasn't yet established. No calming or supportive behavior, whatsoever. I held off in writing the review and informed the management for John Hopkins instead. I gave them a second chance. Seen Amy Johnson a total of (2) visits. Not very approachable lady, and hard person to feel comfortable with. This this is my first pregnancy. On my second appointment (17 weeks) I asked her if things seemed normal, am I where I'm supposed to be, weight wise. She rose her voice and actually scolded me. In front of my sons father, he doesn't actively attend my appointments. 1st time attending I reminded her. I was completely mortified. Approach and tone is everything. Can't stress this enough. I will not be going back here. You have no idea what a woman has gone through on her weight journey or the difficulty and stress already involved in my situation. You should be kind in delivery and express compassion in your field, now, rather than statistics. Every woman is different in the pregnancy process. You are supposed to provide care and support for new mothers. I'm not a number, I'm a person."
"I wanted to share how wonderful Dr. Tess Chase is! I am 8 weeks postpartum now and doing great. Dr. Chase was the physician I saw primarily until rotation, and all were great, but I was so pleased and grateful that Dr. Chase was available to perform my scheduled C-section, because she immediately put me at ease at my 1st appointment, and made me feel well taken care of in my pregnancy journey. I had a few times where I reached out for small concerns and the office was always responsive to me. My only feedback in the negative is maybe to schedule appointments early, as they can be very tight on availability. As I progressed through my pregnancy and needed to see each provider, I was not left with a ton of options for appointment times. Otherwise, Dr. Chase is my motivation for leaving this review. Loved her so!"
"Horrible. My daughter is high risk, she lost her baby a couple months ago and was trying to get in to see a doctor to no avail. She had made an appointment for a follow up which was to occur later this month but just found out she is pregnant again. She started having complications yesterday and went to the emergency room for evaluation. They advised her to get in immediately with her ob. What a joke. She has called 2 days now trying to get help and was told by the nurse to lower her voice because she was crying and pleading with them to help her save this baby. The soonest they can see her is Monday, her primary is helping her find someone sooner. What a horrible, horrible place. High risk babies are not their priority."
"I am pregnant with my first and have nothing but good things to say about this office. My appointments always go smoothly and timely, and everyone I've interacted with has been nice. My main doctor is Dr. Tammy Nguyen, and she made me feel comfortable from the start. Towards the end of your pregnancy, they schedule you with each doctor ar the office, so that you know them all in case they're on call during your labor. I have met all the doctors and can say that they are all nice, friendly and listen to any questions you have. I really recommend this office and all the staff. Always remember, most people only leave reviews if it's something negative. Many don't go out of their way to mention a positive experience. But every time I go, there are plenty of women in the waiting room who look happy to be there."
