"Dr Defreese literally saved my life about 14 years ago when I was in college. I had been having debilitating pain and no doctor could figure out what was wrong with me. I saw so many doctors and most of them made me feel like I was crazy and making it up. I saw him on a Monday and he operated on me the very same week. He sat with me in his office and validated my concerns and made me feel heard. I was young and anxious and he took the time to educate me and made me feel comfortable. Turns out I had very bad endometriosis. I struggled immensely with the hormone treatments and he helped me find other ways to manage my endo. I truly believe that his surgeries are the reason I was able to conceive my daughter. He is kind, compassionate, and he actually listens to what you have to say. He sat with my husband and I in his office at one visit and explained everything thoroughly so we could both understand what was going on. The staff is also always welcoming and warm. I can’t recommend him enough!"

"Had an appointment with the NP last week, no sense of urgency on her part even though I was experiencing strong pain in my lower left side. Haven't received a call back with any results from my PAP or the culture that she supposedly ordered. I do not feel that she cares about the patients in this practice at all. She is definitely not Megan who actually cared and wanted to get to answers when you are having a problem."
