James White: Allstate Insurance

"James White is unprofessional and a clown. Don’t waste your time, he is super misleading. Only reason we went with them for auto is because our homeowners insurance went out of business so he said we could get into Citizens but we HAD to bundle auto with Allstate. We made the switch, the rate was fair, now we have a 30% increase and when I called citizens they said there was no conditions to our homeowners insurance that we had to bundle our auto with Allstate. He straight up lied about that. And don’t you dare call to complain because he just got pissed and told me he didn’t have time for this today and to go ahead and shop around and hung up. Don’t you dare say I yelled at you, I never raised my voice. You sir are the one that yelled at me."

"Never returns messages or emails. We had new windows and doors installed in April, and was told by the installer that we may be eligible for an insurance discount. 2 emails and a phone message resulted in no follow up. Later received a letter of non-renewal on our policy, so reached out again. Actually reached a human named "James", and he was going to start work on it and I promised a follow-up with a current Wind Mitigation Study. I did my part and contacted the James White Agency to move forward. Twice. No response. Got frustrated and contacted another broker and had it done in 20 minutes, and at a 50% rate from before. Sent in the new declaration from the new policy. Yep, crickets..."

"This agent James white is a crook and a misleading agent ! Does not deserve to be an insurance agent and does not deserve to have an office , I will report him to bbb definately !!"

"After being an Allstate customer for years and going 39 years without an accident or a ticket… My insurance rate was doubled after a recent fender bender. No injuries only minor damage. It was a low speed accident but it was my fault. I tried to speak with my local agent and said there’s nothing I can do it’s all corporate dictated. I called corporate Allstate and had no luck there either. So much for accident forgiveness they advertise on TV… You must pay on a premium platform to be awarded that privilege. Never mentioned it when I was signing up years ago. I shopped around increased my coverage levels and found an A+ provider for only $15 more than I was paying prior to my accident. I’ll be terminating my service within the week."

"They were double billing us and it had to go to a higher person outside of James office to even figure it out. They wanted almost $300 when we only owed a hair over $100. So many changes made to the policy (by them) in 5.5 months that I have a full ream of paper. Sad because some people probably wouldn’t take the time to do their research! I cancelled my policy and I would never look back!!"
