"I have not personally been to this establishment but I have read their website and it doesn't mention offering patients anesthesia for any of the gynecological procedures, including BIOPSIES! (they only offer topical lidocaine which is not sufficient enough for a surgical procedure) Denying patients anesthesia for a gynecological biopsy is inhumane and cruel. Male patients are given anesthesia for both testicular biopsies and prostate biopsies. It's time for women to stand up for themselves and stop putting up with the blatant sexism in the healthcare industry. If you go here, make sure to advocate for yourself and request anesthesia! Don't allow the doctor to gaslight you into thinking that the pain is minor as they often lie to female patients and say that the pain is "just a pinch". (which qualifies as lack of informed consent and it's illegal) Many women on Reddit, YouTube, TikTok, and every other social media platform have reported that the pain of gynecological procedures such as biopsies, colposcopies, as well as the IUD procedure to be so painful that they vomited from the pain, passed out from the pain, and were left with medical trauma and PTSD afterwards. For those considering getting an IUD, it's recommended to see a doctor that uses ultrasound to view your uterus to avoid perforating it. It's also strongly advised to only see a doctor that offers the new Carevix clamp (which uses gentle suction to stabilize the cervix) instead of the traditional tenaculum clamp which has two sharp prongs that stab into your cervix, which is not only extremely painful but can cause permanent nerve damage."
"I understand the entire world is upside down right now but since I've been alive and that would be well over 30 years I have never had to switch a gynecologist three times in under 1 year and to be honest it's about to be a fourth gynecologist because I am sick and tired of the unprofessionalism and I am sick and tired of doctors telling me that they don't want to hear anything about what another doctor has told me to them, red flag number one...now let's continue to Red Flag number two! The office is so tiny so small literally you have no privacy the little young girl at the front desk literally ask you for your personal information out loud the lobby area is right in the hallway they keep the door open so you have to scream your personal information because they're not professional enough to ask you for your identification so everyone knows your date of birth, first and last name, all of your information because they're waiting room is so small their staff is so young there's no body there over the age of 35 except the actual Doctor Who verbally told me she don't want to hear anything that the previous gynecologist told me... so after receiving my CAT scans of my abdominal, my ultrasound for my pelvic, urine test, and all of a sudden I have something called fibroids and she verbally told me don't worry about that that's not important even though there's things inside of my body that I know nothing about I had to Google what this is because I don't know anything about it, and then she verbally tells me I have one inside of my body the size of a golf ball but don't worry about that you don't need medication, you don't need surgery, you need to see a gastrologist this would be the fourth maybe fifth test every gynecologist has got me running around(keep in mind im physically disabled...because they don't want to do their actual job. If I'm having a problem with my vagina or my lady Parts I go to that pacific doctor all this doctor is doing and the previous gynecologist is just referring me to other people because apparently I'm not supposed to worry about things growing inside of my body that's the size of golf balls!!! There's no professionalism there AT ALL it's dirty I'm just going to be honest for some reason every gynecologist office in South Florida in Broward county is dirty I don't understand how can you have an office and you're a gynecologist, pregnant women you're bringing new life into this world with a dirty dirty facility and for the second time a gynecologist told me not to worry that's not a big deal that something's growing in my body because most women doesn't notice it , okay well I did everything you guys told me to do your billing my insurance every test they tell me to do comes back great positive and she verbally told me don't worry about these growing fiberboards. the past 3 years i haven't been able to eat right my weight is unbalanced I haven't slept in almost 2 years every time I have to use the bathroom 4:00 in the morning I have to hold the bottom of my stomach just to do so every gynecologist keeps saying oh I just want to rule out this rule out that...you're gynecologist your specific field is for the lady Parts on a human woman's body everyone is just throwing me to the next doctor just to rule out the actual test results in your face showing you that I have something I never had when the previous gynecologist told me I have two treatment options but this woman told me don't worry about anything go see a gastrologist, oh and by the way they don't have any openings because they're booked up solid for three months!!! I value my health and I value my sanity if you do as well keep researching for a better place for your lady parts God bless all the women who needs help from a real gynecologist and not someone who's just going to shove you off on another doctor to avoid their actual job!!!"
"I've been seeing Dr. Khadra Osman, for over 20 years, she is phenomenal, and the staff is good too! Waiting is average but she's worth it."
"I have gone to Dr. Osman for years. Her office staff and medical assistant have always been very kind and respectful. Dr. Osman takes the time to listen to me, answer concerns, relay helpful advice, or suggest recommended labs. She provides reasons behind her decisions - having more information gives a sense of empowerment and confidence that she actively works with me for medical care unique to me, never generic. She has excellent bedside manner and remembers to ask you about family or other non-medical things, something that many doctors often do not do these days. I will continue to see her for as long as she continues to practice!"
