"Excellent doctor, great side manner and the best injector in South Florida. I had plantar fasciitis and never felt pain again after getting a cortisone shot 2 years ago."
"Dr Gonzalez was extremely knowledgeable, had compassion and explained diagnosis in detail.Very impressed ! !"
"Very impressed with Dr. Gonzalez. He was so thorough, knowledgeable and caring. His treatment so far has been successful but he has explained in detail my medical condition and what could be done in the future if I should need it. So grateful to have found an orthopedic doctor like Dr. Gonzales, and a big thank you to Holy Cross telephone Medical Assistance, who directed me to him."
"Dr. Gonzalez was excellent, took the time to explain my knee pain and what could be done in the future if needed. Probably the best experience I’ve ever had going to a new doctor. A big thanks to “Michelle” for getting me in so quickly, the entire group at Holy Cross Orthopedic is outstanding!"
"My experience with Dr Gonzalez was the worst I have ever experienced quite frankly ever. I had 2 visits with him. The first he was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. When i scheduled a 2nd visit a week later because my back/leg injury had gotten worst despite following his directions of another round of steroids and physical therapy, he was another person. He told the secretary to tell me there was nothing else he could do. I told her that I would still like to talk to him to get advice on next steps. After waiting 2 hrs. Crying non stop due to the pain, he came in the room screaming at me. As soon as he opened the door his words were “I don’t know what else you want me to do, I gave you steroids and they didn’t work, I don’t prescribe Opioids”. I was appalled and cried even more. During my first visit i had told him that I was not taking the pain relievers that the ER has prescribed because it did not take the pain away. So he knew, it wasn’t about pain relievers but about getting to the root cause so that I can walk and be mobile as normal. I asked if he thought the ER would be a good idea and he said sure. That they should keep me and do a work up or something. But very dismissive and loud. So much so, that when he walked out, a staff member that sits right across the room asked him if everything was ok. The fact that a Dr would tell you on a second visit that there is nothing they could do for you and insinuate you were looking for drugs, shows that he does not have the adequate tools in his tool box, no experience and no bedside manner. I am still so sad about this second experience as the first made me feel like i had gone to the right place."
