"Great doctor and staff until the office closed unexpectedly. I am now scrambling looking for a doctor yet the next appt for new doctor will be AFTER my expected refill. Now what? This is long term maintenance medication!! I can’t get in contact with Dr Gayle’s staff for refill!!!"
"Dr Richard Gayles has been one of my best pain management doctors by far over the past few years. The staff at this location has always been friendly and helpful in every way. They have been like a family while helping me to deal with my chronic pain issues. I am so grateful for Dr Richard Gayles and his team! I don't know what I am going to do if I have find a new doctor."
"My wife saw the DR was told to get an MRI. We did so, then had an appointment with the nurse Practitioner to review the MRI. The morning of the appointment we got a call had to cancel the nurse had an emergency. We rescheduled with the Dr more than a moth later. And was told we were on a waiting list if a cancellation came up. The we got a call the appointment never was made, so we made anohter appointment. Next we got a email saying the office was closing. Then we also found out the Nurse had quit did not have an emergenty. Then on top of all that we received a bill for an additional amount even though we paid our co pay. wish I could contact the medical review board or something did not even refer us to someone else"
"I highly recommend this office as Melanie the PA and Dr. Gayles are the best Dr's I've ever had. They both take the time to listen and fully go above and beyond and answering all questions and concerns with you. Also huge shout out to Melanie as she really took the time as she does on every visit with me to listen to other health concerns I've been experiencing and ordered all appropriate tests to have done before my next visit which really gave me peace of mind. Anyone struggling with Chronic Pain and in need of provider's compassionate, caring, excellent mannerisms, makes you feel heard, and diagnosis and treats you in a quick time frame to help you get back a better quality of life I recommend this as the office for your health care needs! Thanks again Dr. Gayles and PA Melanie."
"I was referred to Dr Richard Gayles by my primary care doctor. When I called to set up my appointment, I was turned away because my authorization wasn't processed. I called my primary and got the authorization processed and called back. After scheduling the appointment, I went straight to my email to complete the paperwork I was sent for my visit. Yesterday I was called by the office saying my paperwork wasn't done, so I checked and saw my paperwork was complete. When I called back, I was told I was supposed to use a desktop computer for paperwork. I told her I had to use my phone because I don't have a computer. She said I could come in an hour before my appointment and do the paperwork before my appointment. I realized if I turned my phone sideways, I can see the tabs that I would have been able to see on the desktop. I finished the online paperwork and prepared for my appointment. I am 5 minutes from your office when I get a phone call saying I should have been there half an hour ago. 2:30. I explained I finished the paperwork so I thought I only had to be 30 minutes early. She said I didn't finish the paperwork. She checks. I did. I get called back and the nurse hasn't reviewed my file so I have to try to explain everything and she continues to make assumptions. I am 31 years old (which is why this office didn't take me seriously) I have two kids and I'm cursed with rheumatoid arthritis since I was 11 years old. I'm scheduling surgery with my Orthopedic Surgeon for bone spurs from years of my bones grinding. I have never taken pain medication other than what I'm prescribed. My blood is drawn every 2 months. So to drive 45 minutes with gas being $4 a gallon, I'm pretty disappointed that I wasn't informed I wouldn't be given any medication to help relieve my aches. I've tried so many anti inflammatory meds. They don't touch the pain. The staff was more concerned with canceling my appointment twice than preparing me for what the appointment would cover. While I I get my copay back, I drove an hour and a half. The office needs some serious retraining. That was the most horrible experience I swear."
