I went twice, the first time they literally messed up my paperwork and had to come back a week later. 2nd time my appointment was 50 minutes late, just for him to be dismissive for 5 minutes. Maybe the other doctors are better. But avoid him."

"After recently relocating and needing an Orthopedic specialist for my shoulders, I spent days and weeks researching and looking through hundreds of doctors and hundreds of reviews, hoping to find someone that would be a good fit to help me get back to my best health possible. One morning in constant pain and feeling overwhelmed by my search, I can only describe my finding Dr. Benjamin Services website as Devine intervention. From the ease in making my first appointment, and setting up my Orlando Health Care login, I have been overwhelmed by the excellence in the process. When I arrived to the office in Orlando on July 12th, for my first appointment I was nervous, and hoping I had selected the right doctor for me. I was greeted by a young woman named Hannah at registration. Hannah was so kind helping me check-in and made me feel so welcomed. But the best part was her reaction when she saw my appointment was with Dr. Service. Her first words “You are going to love Dr.Service!” That put me at ease right away. Hannah directed me to my appointment location. It seemed like just a few moments passed and I was called in by Adrian & Erin the Radiologist for an X-ray of my shoulder. The excellence in care continued with caring and kindness during the X-ray process. Immediately following, I was brought back to a waiting area, and soon thereafter was called into the exam areas. The kind woman (didn’t get her name), prepared for the doctor by confirming all the information I filled out online. It wasn’t very long before this confident but extremely caring doctor walked in, greeted me with a huge smile, as he made eye contact he introduced himself to me, Dr. Benjamin Service. All I could think at that moment was I felt at ease and knew I was where I needed to be!!! Dr. Benjamin Service then proceeded to introduce my husband and I to his two assistants who would be taking notes (Preston & a young lady I failed to write her name down). Dr. Service has got to be one of the most amazing doctors I’ve ever met. I’ll tell you, it may not seem important to some, but Dr. Service is beyond exceptional when it came to how he treated me as a patient. With respect, care, compassion, and actually didn’t get upset or frustrated as I tried to paint the picture of how my issue came about. He made eye contact with us the whole time and actually “listened to me “! Dr. Service is confident, understanding and extremely knowledgeable, but he’s able to relay information to his patients without being rushed. I felt like he truly cares about his patients.Dr. Service was so thorough in his exam, and later that afternoon I read the notes on my chart online and it was all verbatim from our conversation and the tests he actually performed that morning. I’m so grateful that God directed me to him. Also on a side note, when you go to see a doctor, and they walk in with an appearance of complete health, and physically fit (the epitome of wellness!!), well, that’s who I want to care for me!! Also, I needed care for my knee and left hand. Dr. Service never hesitated and gave me the names of two doctors that he said were outstanding in their field. And yes!!! So far he wasn’t kidding…..Dr. Pratik Desai (another AMAZING Orthopedic surgeon!) Way to go Jewett Orthopedic"

"The treatment I've been getting at their new Jewett Orthopedic center has been awful, both at the surgeon's office and the physical therapy office at this location. They're trying to withhold information about my CT scan and suddenly talking about having to wait another month now (instead of next week) for me to know my results. After receiving concerning information at my last appointment, leaving a patient scared and uncertain like this is unacceptable. That combined with the negligent care I've been receiving from one of their physical therapists at the same location tells me that Orlando Health doesn't take patient care seriously. I had to make multiple requests for a different physical therapist for weeks before they finally allowed me to schedule appointments with a different physical therapist. This was only after I told them if I couldn't schedule with any other therapist that I would have to go somewhere else. Orlando Health seems to just not care. I'm really disappointed."
