"This review consists of two parts. Firstly, I want to commend the medical staff for their exceptional care and friendly demeanor. They exhibited genuine concern and performed their duties with outstanding professionalism. However, my experience with the front office was disappointing. Their attitude was indifferent and they displayed a lack of concern for both my well-being and my input. Mary and Christy, in particular, were rude and showed a callous disregard for my requests. Despite repeatedly asking them to contact my insurance company or mail me the bill, their response remained consistently dismissive: "We are a private company, we don't operate in that manner." It was evident that their primary focus was on collecting payment upfront, rather than prioritizing patient care. Although my insurance covered the entire cost of the procedure, it took an excessive 60 days and numerous phone calls before I received full credit. This delay further underscores the office's disregard for patient welfare, highlighting their primary concern as financial gain rather than patient well-being."
"Good care, terrible service. Both times I’ve been here (for a consultation and a follow up) I’ve had to wait at least 45 minutes past my appointment time for the doctor. What is the point of having an appointment if no one actually pays attention to the time? Once I’m finally seen, the doctor spends 5 minutes with me and then I have to pay a ridiculous amount of money. Doctor and nurses are friendly, the doctor is knowledgeable, but my time is no less important than anyone else’s so I likely won’t be coming back here."
"This is a great practice and I enjoy working with Dr. Shephard and his medical assistants. He has been an excellent specialist and has great patient care. This review is no reflection of him. However, I cannot speak for the new office location with the RUDE and unprofessional person at the front desk. But if it was my office, she would be FIRED—No questions asked. She looks UNHAPPY AND MISERABLE. Basically, like she doesn’t give a damn. I also spoke to her manager and vented my frustrations—CHRISTINE MCINTYRE. All she did was talk over me and kept saying she was the OFFICE MANAGER! I don’t care what your title is But obviously, it’s working for you!!! This explains the behavior of the employee behind the front desk. In today’s world, I guess people feel like they can talk to patients and be disrespectful. Do you expect a person just to sit there and take that? RESPECT IS RESPECT! Maybe you need to figure out how to properly organize a patient’s paperwork. This way time is not wasted..PERIOD. Let’s just say we agree to DISAGREE. I will still come here to see Dr. Shephard and his assistants. This part of the visit was 2000% better than checking in with that ugly personality at the front desk."
