"Appointment was sent months in advance for st. Patrick’s Day and still no luck in receiving help from this provider As a Minister I’ve always tried to offer people around me a certain availability whether it is to lend a hand or just an ear if need be . After a conversation with my primary doctor I was told Island life mental health was close to my area . And what a let down it was . No one ever answers the phone , no is ever at the office, and I found the app had problems including showing I was booked some days and others showing I was not . After multiple attempts to use this provider I felt comfortable heading to my appointment via a conversation I had with a receptionist via phone call (finally!!!) to confirm my appointment. I arrived to an empty office, well maybe it was a zoom office visit, at least 5 calls later , no answer, thank god I wasn’t suicidal. I noticed lots of 5 star reviews for this provider . "Dr. Sanderbeck is amazing! I met with her for my initial and for the first time I felt like I wasn’t judged. She truly listens to my concerns. I have talked with other doctors who make it very apparent that you are just another patient with another problem. Not this doctor. You can tell she has so much compassion for people by how she speaks to you with respect, and asks questions to fully understand your feelings, all while keeping it professional. This isn’t a job for her. You can tell it’s a passion. I also noticed that she was much more concerned with helping me, than running over our one hour appointment. She explained to me how I was misdiagnosed and shed light on the true issues at hand. She lets you know that there is hope but also isn’t afraid to tell you what you need to hear.
