Physical Therapy Now - West Kendall

"My initial consultation went fine and the PT who I met with was receptive to my issues (I have multiple bulging disks and sciatica). I was excited to begin physical therapy at this location because my experience had gone well so far - however on my first visit the two PT’s who attended me had me doing flexion exercises, one of them being to bend forward with my hands on a ball which is the exact opposite thing someone with bulging disks should be doing. When I confronted her about my concern with doing that exercises, she challenged my concern and said “that that exercise should be fine and that bending forward doesn’t have anything to do with bulging disks”. I NEVER go out of my way to write a bad review because I believe in protecting workers but I’m sick of incompetent medical professionals. Just make sure you go into anything regarding your health with some understanding of what you should be doing because even a licensed PT will make you worse."
