"Do not use this school. During my experience, CEI changed their book rental policy. Instead of granting the extension which was an option when I started; I was told to either buy the books for the additional $1400 or I could look into other schools with rental programs. My first review was removed!"

"With a shorter history working in Construction, I was definitely nervous about my experience taking the FL Residential Contractor Exams. I was blown away by the course material CEI offered. They were excellent. Saw several topics on exams that were clearly outlined in the coursework. If you follow the instructions to pass and study with purpose you will absolutely be adequately prepared for test days. I loved the convenience of the online learning program and thought everything was very easy to follow. Course material was clearly updated as evident by page numbering and editions. I rented my books early, be aware that sometimes not all books will be available when you order so it might take a bit of time to get them in. I received all 16 required material within about 1.5 months of placing my order. So plan ahead! Do not be discouraged if you haven’t taken math or some kind of advanced learning! They broke down topics as simple as percentage calculations! All 3 practice exams in the software are able to be retaken multiple times. I never noticed repeated questions and took the practice tests about 2 times each. Some feedback for CEI: the Flashcards of things to know in the Contracting/PM course would be far more useful as a Microsoft Word document, PowerPoint, or pdf flashcards etc as a download from the learning portal or website. I typed my Flashcards out myself and think learners would be able to print/study offline in a simpler format without the necessity of a computer or wifi. I used mine to study while I was traveling without wifi to boost my confidence prior to testing. Thanks to CEI, I passed all 3 RC exams following about ~3 months of studying with CEI. Can’t recommend CEI enough!"

"I was beyond impressed with the content and preparation I received from working with CEI. I choose to rent books and use the online training. It was superb. The content truly helped me prepare for the certified contractor exams. Throughout the process communication was great and the few times I did have a question, I was quickly responded to with answers. This is a difficult process with a lot of options. I can highly recommend CEI. What you really need to learn is how to navigate the information and text books, and they have formulated a system to help you do that very well. You need to study. "After much research, I chose CEI for my GC License Prep and Licensing needs. Bill answered all of my questions, and quickly had me enrolled in the program. With the CEI classes and instructors, I successfully passed all three exams, on my first attempt. Judy was my instructor, and the tips/strategies she gave, were extremely useful at test time Kristy the licensing specialist is amazing! Kristy answered every question I had, she assisted me in completing all the applications, and navigated the entire licensing process for me.
