"the staff here do not care about you or anything. they don’t have any empathy for nothing and are most likely there just to get the money. i can’t speak for the adults who have been there , but as a child being there was unhelpful and unbearable. the beds are not comfortable, the food is not great, they act as if you are just “acting” for the attention, and the bathroom situations needed to be improved. this place is very trauma enduring and does not help anyone. if i was you reading this, don’t send your loved ones there , or anybody at all. in the kids department you can hear everything from the adults. the head banging, screaming, etc. there’s also a door that opened from the middle which connects the kids to the adults and usually the adults standing there waiting look in to the children, or give creepy stares. they track you with an ankle monitor that tells them your every move . you wake up bright and early with no sense of time or effort to make the day good."
"i just went to visit my daughter this evening and she showed me where she slept n what she slept on...r u serious? maybe dcf should investigate this! my daughter stated that a night shift thick kinda tall black woman constantly yelled at patients and if she thought you had an attitude would sit u in a corner...WHAT? i personally will do my investigation n mk sure my child is out of that facility quick"
"It's seriously refreshing to be treated like a human being and heard for what is going on instead of judged and assumed. Yesenia and the staff here was amazing, professional, and compassionate! I was looking to find a more established and reliable place to get my psychiatry needs regardless of my insurance situation. There is an obvious stigma around mental health, and the media doesn’t depict it fairly. This was by far one of the easiest going places I’ve been to!"
"Yesenia and her staff are amazing. I didn't stay there so idk how the intake was. As an out patient, they are kind, helpful, and very understanding. They are helping me in ways no other has. It's hard and take's some time for everything to even out, but it does work. If I can do it, you can too. Stay strong we are here for you!"
"Would give zero stars if i could. the doctor called me “attention-seeking” and tried to diagnose me with something new after knowing me for less than a minute. they did not provide hygiene products and as i was leaving, i asked if they had packed my jewelry, and keisha assured me in an annoyed tone that “it was right there” (it was not). now i have to wait for them to mail it to me, which they are only doing because i called. the conditions were dirty and my roommate called me a b-word. it was not a healing environment whatsoever. shoutout to dana for being a wholesome tech though and shoutout tara and jackie."
