"A really bad experience. My almost 20yr old son was having the worst throat pain of his life. He also had chills, low grade fever and body pains. He couldn't get a quick appointment scheduled with his doc so I suggested this place. I feel so guilty. He filled out all the questions, called me to review meds and allergies and answered all the nurses questions. When the doc came in, she hadn't looked at any of it. All she did was look in his throat and said it was raw and he probably had a sinus infection with drainage. He asked her to take a swab to check for strep-but no. In the end, his antibiotic was sent to the wrong pharmacy, with our last name spelled wrong, and the wrong city as part of the address. It was a fiasco that took a whole extra day to sort out with the help of kind pharmacy techs. We're praying the antibiotic does the trick since we're not sure what causing the throat issue. Nothing about this visit was handled properly. Please don't put your health in their hands."
"Being in the healthcare field myself I can not believe how the PA working that day treated us. Came in the room without any introduction, horrible bedside manner and just sent me on my way with an antibiotic prescription with no explanation on what was going on with me. I had been sick for days. Can tell she did not want any to be there taking care of me. Front desk staff were polite and accommodating. Other than that I would not recommend you come to this place to get care."
"It was such a horrible experience. I took the Covid test and it is positive. I was told to schedule a video time to get medication. I waited almost an hour and no one replied. I am 67 years old and could not get medicine. I have been a patient of Dr Salvato for years and he would not help me. Totally ridiculous. I do not recommend this service"
"If it wasn't for Dr Gerarda, I would be giving a much lower review. So I've been here a few times for many issues. My most recent visit however is my second visit for the same issue. An Ingrown toenail. Previously I had seen Dr. Gerarda T. Lascaze. (10-18-22) Lovely lady and I honestly think her patience and explanation as a doctor made me enjoy being treated here. She had treated my ingrown toenail. She walked me through the process, counted down, I'm very sensitive to needles and she made the process really smooth, I didn't feel anything, two shots on each side of my toe, no pain was felt. Only a single bit of pressure on the side she wasn't even touching haha, she sent me off with plenty of instructions, a pain killer, an antibiotic and a next date (came in 2 days later) to come in and get the dressing removed so she can clear me to care for it myself. Keep up the good job Dr. Lascaze! I had seen Dr Michael A. Salvato for my second visit to get it redone. I generally don't enjoy getting seen by him (I've been seen by him maybe 3 times for other reasons before). He seems inconvenienced by me as a patient. Or makes me feel stupid for being scared or confused about a procedure. We did my second ingrown toenail removal today, 5-30-23 and I was BEYOND disappointed with my visit. It was painful for no reason, the way he treated me made me uncomfortable, telling me to lay down without telling me what he plans to do as I saw him reaching for a needle, myself being squeamish of needles was concerned. He was simply testing if I could feel anything... He could have lead with that. I could feel on some parts, he continued with it anyway explaining, "I can't make pressure go away all I can do is make sure there isn't any pain" which I understand. But I had told him "I feel some pain, but mostly pressure" and he said that... I could still feel pain he also explained the procedure only takes about 10 seconds, so once he starts he won't stop, which makes sense. Except for the fact that I could still feel some of it. He went through with it anyway and I even said ow several times during the precedure. Meanwhile previously I barely even flinched. (thanks to the two shots she had given my toe, she knew it'd make the procedure much smoother. Better to over do it than under do it). The sudden pressure surprised me the first time, but I didn't feel ANY pain. So this was beyond scary for me. Once done with the procedure anyway, he did not clean the now open wound or surrounding skin, now mind you I've also got an infection going on. So that's a big deal. The nurse that came in saw he had just shoved some goz ontop of it and asked if he had already started the wrap, confused as to what she saw. She removed it and reapplied new goz. It's likely she was not expected to have to clean it. She wrapped it up and sent me on my way. What I realized once I got home. They did not clean it, their sterilizing solution (brown stuff) was clearly still on my foot, they also did not apply anything like nelsporin to prevent the goz from sticking to my wound. After a few hours of the numbing waring off and my uncomfort growing I caved and unwrapped it to clean it and apply nelsporin myself. I now do not feel the goz pulling on my wound and feel more safe about the infection not spreading. This was extremely unprofessional and my advice for discharge was: remove the bandage after a few hours and do not put nail polish on. I'd never heard anyone tell someone to remove it after a few hours. I was told to keep it on for at least 24 hours last time and come in to get it removed so they could check on it. To which I was told to cover and cushion it when I work so it doesn't injure the tissue. But today he just said to take it off after 24 hours and that was it... I'm sorry. But I genuinely feel like this was not handled the best it could've been. Thank you to Dr. Gerarda for all the great advice the first time to make me more prepared for this. And thank you for the antibiotics previous to this visit (5-30-23) so I could be treated properly."
"This was my first time doing a virtual appointment for my daughter. The process was relatively easy. There was a wait, but waiting at home with a sick kid was much easier than waiting in an office full of ALL the germs. The physician was kind and thoughtful for being the only one in office seeing patients in person and virtually. I would definitely recommend a virtual Urgent Care appointment for the smaller stuff."
