"Worst office worker ever!! A women by the name of Michelle returned a phone call to me and during our conversation was to the point of raising her voice disrespectfully in an Extreme unprofessional way. I’m appalled. My son and I just started going to Dr. Prawer last February and had a good experience on that visit but this phone conversation will definitely make me rethink recommending or continuing to be a patient at this office! Shame on you lady, maybe you need a time out or NEW JOB."

"After suggestions from members of a local FB group, I contacted this office to schedule an appointment. Their website clearly states on their home page "Prawer Medical Group is now accepting new patients in St. Petersburg and surrounding areas." Unfortunately, when I called and asked about becoming a new patient, I was immediately met with a very unpleasant "Michelle" whose attitude reflected like I was bothering her and inconveniencing her with my phone call. Her first question out of the box was "what insurance do you have" and when I told her, she said I have to call number on back of my card to see if they are in my network because "we don't verify insurance in this office." Well, that's a first for me. What kind of medical office doesn't verify insurance? Then she proceeded with "well Dr. Prawer is scheduling new patients into April of next year" and said their nurse practitioners are booked out too. She didn't even mention the other doctor in the group until I asked about availability to see her. Yes, I pronounced the doctor's name wrong, which she didn't hesitate to rudely point it out to me – yes, my mistake, but no reason to be rude about it. Continuing with the same attitude, she told me that doctor is booking into October. No offer to schedule an appointment, just attitude to deter me from booking an appointment with their office. They obviously don’t want new patients. What they need to do is update their website to reflect that. It’s a shame because I thought they were going to be different than the corporate cookie cutter “Bay” groups in the area. Keep looking because this group doesn’t want you."

"I have been seeing Dr Prawer for 2 years. I have had many different family doctors over the years. He is by far the best general practitioner I have ever had. He listens, he is compassionate, he take the time to learn your issues and follows up with diagnostics and referrals. When I have problems between appointments he handles them immediately. Even calling me directly, after I left a message, (only 5 minutes later) that I had a covid scare. He made sure I would get the care I needed. Thankfully it wasn't covid, still he followed up multiple times to make sure I was OK. What Dr. do you know that does that, who calls you directly? Usually they have their staff do it. He took his valuable time, after hours, to tend to my well-being. I am thankful to have such a caring Dr. AAAA+"

"Dr Adam Prawer and his staff are amazing! In addition to SAVING MY LIFE, I am always able to get an appointment to see Dr. Prawer or Dr. Sochet when I am having a medical problem. I'm so glad I chose him as my primary care doctor."

"Dr. Prawer is a wonderful doctor and person. We switched my mom to Dr. Prawer after she saw him in the hospital. My mom was quite sick by that time, however, he made my mom feel so special. He would ask her what care SHE wanted. Not what our family told her. I also switched to Dr. Prawer. He is an angel. He actually cares what you are feeling and thinking. I am so thankful my mom spent her last months knowing this man cared. I can’t say enough good things about this man. The office staff is also very nice and prompt with messages, etc."
