"I go to the OBGYN here. Michelle and Stacy are the sweetest. However, Rebecca is honestly so rude. I am 30 weeks pregnant and drove an entire hour to my appointment just for her to literally kick me out because my appointment had been set too soon. Look, i agree that the appointment might’ve been set too soon but the way she just walts into that room and said “yeah girl, no.” was just really not appreciated. i only had her twice and both times i brought up concerns or had a question she made me feel stupid and just shot me down with a sick attitude. I definitely dont recommend that woman."
"I delivered my first born here in 2022 and the experience was terrible. I saw a different provider every time, which would be fine if I was just getting to know the different providers. However, it was because all of the providers kept quitting. There was no continuity of care. I had to constantly check to make sure things were done. My delivery experience was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The CRNA Melanie Harshdeep was so extremely rude, she talked down to me the entire time as if I was stupid. Yes, it was my first child, but I’m a nurse and I’m educated on the way things are supposed to go. My epidural failed, I ended up needing a spinal, which she stuck me 7 times for, blaming me for not being able to get it. I was having contractions through the entire thing so as you can imagine, it wasn’t easy to sit in the same position for an hour while she tried to get the spinal block. Although I delivered my son in 2022, I still think about my experience to this day and I’m so angry that I was in so much pain I wasn’t able to advocate for myself better and it’s upsetting that people with zero compassion are in healthcare. She alone, ruined my entire birth experience. After I delivered I had the worst spinal headache. Not only was I dealing with healing from a c section but I had the most intense headache I’ve ever experienced in my life. I told my provider and she sent the anesthesiologist in to talk about a blood patch. The anesthesiologist was the same one in the room with Melanie, who allowed her to continue sticking me 7 times, so when he walked in I immediately said “I don’t need a blood patch.” (Because I would rather go to a different hospital than have either one of them touch me) and he proceeded to say, “yeah, if you had a spinal headache you wouldn’t be standing up right now.” As if I didn’t just have a baby that I have to care for? What other option did I have? Someone called to check on me regarding my experience after I was discharged and I explained the situation and she said she would pass it on and I never heard anything about it again. I work in healthcare and would never leave a bad review or a review period unless it was 100% necessary. Anyone who is having a baby and is considering delivering here I would HIGHLY recommend looking elsewhere. AdventHealth has always been great, I’m not sure why Altamonte is so terrible but any other location would be better than coming here."
"This office changes your appointments to different locations and after you drive 45 mins out due to traffic you get to appt 16 mins late they reschedule you with no one in the lobby and recently having a newborn they have no empathy to see you for your appointment the front desk does not acknowledge your emotions they do not stand for what adventhealth promotes. This is not including the traumatic i had to experience during my labor. I wish I can give them no stars. I am a current employee with andventhealth and with my office we do give patient’s benefits of the doubt and we accommodate them per situation."
"Ive been coming here for years and was asked 7 days before my appt to send over copies of my insurance card. Once they saw that Im now 65 and on Medicare, they called to let me know they dont see women 65 and older and they dont accept Medicare!!! No reason was given as to why they didnt tell me this a year ago, or when I called and made my appt., other than " I dont know." Very unprofessional."
"The office seems clean and most of the time the staff is nice. My biggest issue is my last visit on 3/22/23. I have been getting the depo for a while and your supposed to get a urine test every time to check if your pregnant. I was not given a test, which I didn’t bother asking for since I know I’m not pregnant.. but how would the nurse know ? Lauren was also very rough and I still have the bump in my arm from the needle 2 weeks later. She did not ask me about my period cycle and had to call hours after my appointment to ask questions she missed. Now 4/4/23, I am getting a test result for a urine test that I never took! How can you just make up false results for a test someone never took, that is unacceptable. During another appointment, I was told it was canceled yet there was no call, text or email letting me know this information. Update 5/18/23: I sent an email to the one that was left in the response at least a week ago and after asking for the best way to contact me no one has bothered to reach out again. The office is taking this very lightly."
