"So many discrepancies that I am not sure where to start. 3 weeks ago I went to PMA Davenport, Fl (My Primary Care Provider) with an injury to my knee. Since Dr. Rezahi is my primary I went to see him for a referral to an orthopedic. The doctor did not look at my knee and offered me a requisition form to take to ATradiology in Davenport (worse than PMA), In the meantime, while I was with Doctor I requested help with other ailments which the doctor wrote severals script for medications, mammogram and bloodwork to help with all my issues including the pain on my knee. According to PMA the MRI requisition form was marked that i needed an auth from my insurance to move forward with the MRI and it would two weeks. I patiently waited the 2 weeks and reached out to my insurance to get an update only to be told that PMA had not submitted the form for authorization. Additionally, per PMA I never needed the authorization, so why was I told that I needed it which has caused all the delays. As of today 1/18/24 I have not had the MRI due to PMA’s internal lack of communication. In addition, both mammogram and bloodwork results have been available for almost a week and I have yet to hear from anyone at PMA to review the results. One of the main reasons for the bloodwork was to decide on medications to help all my symptoms. PMA has made very little effort to assist me on getting the MRI or at the very least review my results from my bloodwork to determine which medications I need to help my symptoms. The insane thing is I received a text TELLING ME I have an appointment to review the MRI. I reached out to PMA and spoke with Rebecca, Chad, Irene and all of promised me that they would help me and not one of them has had the courtesy to give me a call and offer me an update. However, PMA don’t seem to have a problem collecting my co pay and billing my insurance. Needless to say, I am transferring to another medical facility and this time I will do my due diligence so this wont happen again. I DO NOT WISH THIS TREATMENT ON MY WORST ENEMY!! DO NOT RECOMMEND"

"Went to my first visit last year. Didn't get anything done, they just gave me a perscription to get blood work done & asked to return so they can evaluate me. I only needed to pay the co-pay per my insurance policy. I paid upon check out. I moved, so I wasn't able to get the blood work done & didn't return. I am back in town a year later and asked for another appointment, they said I had a balance of $190 I need to clear before I am seen.... I said, why, I didn't get a physical or check up, they didn't care to answer as it was so long ago. To be seen without check up, they charge $200 and for a Obesity consultation, which I never got, is $40. All they did was ask some questions, request blood work for me and to come back to get examined. It's cheaper to go directly to Quest and ask for blood work and bring it to a clinic that takes your insurance. My bill litterally has the insurance copay credit then debited in the same bill cancelling my insurance payment...that was clearly taken at the time of my appointment."

"My friend went to get a checkup for the first time in a while. They haven't had health insurance until recently and have always been apprehensive of going to the doctor because they are already super aware of certain issues such as being overweight and don't want to be judged. Well the doctor shamed my friend by constantly reminding them how overweight they are... like they don't already know that?!?On top of that, the doctor kept making shameful assumptions about diet and talking down to them like they are a child! The receptionist also was not helpful in answering questions and also made comments regarding their health and making assumptions, talking to them like they are dumb. Shaming someone who is seeking out medical help is never okay and especially with something like obesity where everyone who is overweight already knows they are. Just be kind to others and be kind to yourself by not going to this place. Take your business elsewhere."

"Dr Martinez is an amazing Dr. He has made sure that I was taking care of with no set time limit. I didn’t feel rushed I felt as if he cared and wanted what was best for me. His whole office staff from the front desk girl to his nurse made me feel at home. From the smiles when I came in to the smiles and goodbyes when I left.
