"We were both hurried through the exam, waited nearly six weeks for my glasses, still waiting for my husband’s. Finally got a call after to months, was told the ours to come pick them up and they were closed!!!!!"
"RUN FROM PERICH! Miller (he doesn't deserve the title Dr.,) is the worst optometrist, if you can even call him that, that I've had in over 50 years! I have double vision with close-up work, so they prescibe a separate pair of prism glasses for that. So I had to endure his lengthy diatribe of how good he was at that. Not! Chastised me profusely for not bringing him my previous records. I had just moved and had no access to my files yet, besides I've never needed to do that with ANY other exam! Next and worse, he prescribes my glasses, both pairs, but FAILS to tell me, he has removed my bifocals from my daily glasses. I paid nearly $1000 for both pairs of glasses. Didn't find out that there were no bifocals until I picked them up. I was furious, but he would do NOTHING about it. I had to pay, (out-of-pocket because I'd already used my exam for Mitchell) for another eye exam. I even drove all the way to New Port Richey, so I could be seen by a trusted opthalmologist, Dr. Rowan, NOT a so-called optimetrist like Miller. Then over $500, again, for another pair of glasses. To me the pair of "just distance" glasses are totally worthless to me. I do a lot of computer work and use my TV screen as my monitor. When I am inputting data from my phone, for example, I have to continuously change from my distance to prism glasses, and pray I don't make a mistake. I can't even read a recipe and cook at the same time without changing glases many, many times. Then, I had the old people's syndrome, where I started seeing black spots and spider webs in my field of vision. I went to Perich ONLY bc they could see me by the PA bc I was established. I caught Miller in the hall, while I was being dilated. When I explained why I was unhappy, he nearly snapped my head off. I knew he had a temper from when he did my eye exam and chastised me. However, this was out in front of everyone! I didn't allow my mother to speak to me like that. I am the wrong person. Oh and by the way, my eye pressure was high when I went in for the spots and spider webs. They were able to determine, it wasn't a torn retina, but were concerned about glaucoma. They said they had to have me seen by an opthalmologist and he only comes once a month. So they wanted me to sit on pins and needles, not knowing whether I have glaucoma or not, for over three months, nearly four! That was the last straw. Thus the trip to New Port Richey to see a real eye doctor. Thank you Dr. Rowan (from Rowan Eye Center) in finding out I do not have glaucoma and Perich should never have scared me that way. They should've explained how frequently the eye pressure changes, daily. Run away, do not walk away, from Perich. I wouldn't take my dog there. Most of the staff there were nice, but nice doesn't come close to making up for incompetence and beyond rude behavior. I hope this helps even one person from making the horrific mistake that I made by going to Perich. Your eyes are too important to entrust them to the likes of Perich."
"The very best care and everyone is excellent at their jobs. The surgery was a breeze and I'm so appreciative for everything! Thank you to Dr. Miller and staff!"
"This is the best place around for efficient, caring people. Every person from the front staff to the doctor worked precision coordination with each other and I was extremely satisfied with the results. I was elated to know I could be fixed without surgery. Would highly recommend to anyone with eye problems."
"Surgeon has a good reputation among people who have had cataract surgery and Dr Miller is informative and friendly but can feel how stretched he is ( by no means am I trying diminish the changing times and pandemic status and places running on empty) BUTTT office seems to have forgotten they have a waiting room with pts in it and the staff talk very loudly and bluntly about pt interactions and it's not positive and is unprofessional, this is a big turn off. The wait time past scheduled appt is always 30 -60 min most times have waited 45 min to spend very short time with Dr,,occasional long waits happen but Everytime?? And most recent interaction with staff was just almost rude and belittling,,,your listening to them following there lead coming to appts and then get treated rudely, thnking we will go thru the hassle of changing Dr/office."
