"The reservation was honored quickly . The dinner was of high quality and service was impeccable. Relaxed time before going up the elevator to the plaza entrance to the Theater. Could not be better ."

"We ate at Marti’s Saturday before the Opera. The servers need more training! Our server proceeded to ask for our orders prior to our friend who was at our table before us. Plus, she should have been asked for her order first as she is a woman! Our friend also had to request her drink order that was late coming to her (no sorry or explanation for the delay). As for the food, the popovers have been replaced by an ok little muffin, the salmon I had was topped with ? an unappetizing topping and a tiny sliver of lemon on the side, a tiny portion of brussel sprouts that were very good. The dessert, a chocolate Bundt cake that had a hard dry crust and chewy center was inedible! We know you can do better!! Being the only convenient choice out of two close by restaurants, you need to bring up your standards!"

"This restaurant was outstanding both in terms of service and dinner options.Our waitress Vanessa took great care of us from start to finish! Welcoming, knowledgeable, and so very charming. It was the perfect place for dinner before going to the theatre to see Chicago.We loved our experience and could not have had a better waitress than Vanessa who gave us outstanding recommendations for our meals. "We dined at Marti’s years ago—pre pandemic—and it was lovely. We gave it another try again tonight before a show, and had a horrible experience. They only offer a prix-fix set menu before shows, at the price of $59.50 a person. The portions are tiny. Sadly, the kitchen is not properly staffed or equipped to serve a crowd dining before the theater. We arrived at 5:45p for dinner before an 8pm show, and that wasn’t even enough time. Everything was slow. We waited 35 minutes to get our dessert, after begging our server several times, and watching everyone around us receive dessert. We paid our bill before dessert ever arrived. Won’t be returning. There’s many other options for pre-theater dining—SKIP THIS ONE."

"Restaurant was nice and with a great view. Food was very good. Loved the presentation. Portions were quite small but, I didn't mind as I prefer smaller dinner. Would come back if the menu is different as they have a fixed menu."
