"Absolutely amazing. The parking is easy and the $5 valet is right at the door. Going early and having a drink at the bar is a must. The service was amazing, the food was to die for and the atmosphere is the best in town. Took my wife on a date night and we loved every second. They do have a limited gluten free menu but they modified my dish as needed. I would recommend bringing your own gf bread if you intend enjoying the antipasti. I'll be going back!"

"Beautiful ambiance, stunning bar, absolutely lovely overall experience. The stuffed artichoke was very good. The Cesar salad made table side is a nice experience but if you like anchovies they don’t really put enough. We asked for some additional anchovies on the side and never got them. Overall staff was great but our waiter is a bit of a Butterfingers. We had two different spill experiences caused by our waiter. Then birthday cake candle, (which is a giant sparkler) also kept falling while our waiter was bringing birthday cake out to us, instead of trying to first fix it, he still presented it to the table and almost dropped it on us. There were several birthdays that night and nobody else had an issues. With respect to the entrées, nothing was too noteworthy. I had the local snapper runway style- beautifully presented, but taste wise nothing special. my husband said the same about his veal. All the appetizers were great though - would come here again for the live band, appetizers and cocktails not necessarily for entrées. The live band is wonderful."

"If you live in this area or you are visiting this area you must eat dinner at this place. The service a fantastic. The food is fantastic. There was a live jazz band the night we were there - fantastic. This place reminds me of the dinner clubs you would see at the top resorts in the Catskills in the 80’s. A fabulous dinner experience. Don’t miss this place! It’s superb!"

"We have been trying to get reservations for months, and we finally got in, FYI they do hold a credit card on file for the reservation. This place is pricy, expect to spend between $50 - $100 pp, and this is not a casual restaurant, they do have a dress code. The restaurant is fairly large, with 3 "sections", dining room Cypress room and the bar, the dining room is the main event, there's even a stage for live entertainment. Whoever that jazz band was, really knocked it out the park. The service and staff was professional and exceptional, Alexandra at the bar was amazing! My boyfriend is on the hunt for the best Chicken Parm in SoFlo, so naturally, that's what he had with a Cesar salad, the Cesar dressing is made table side (loved that). I had the Snapper prepared Runway style which is grilled in a lemon butter with tomatoes. As my side I had the string beans and prosciutto...all things were delirious, but the winner of the night was the Snapper and that cheesy bread they brought to the table when we were seated. I will say the portions were large, so you get a bang for your buck. 100% recommend for special occasion dinners, or dates if you really want to show off."

On a busy Wednesday night, the restaurant was packed, testament to its popularity. From the moment we walked in, the vibrant atmosphere set the tone for a great evening ahead. Let's talk about the food first: it was nothing short of spectacular. We sampled a variety of appetizers like tableside Caesar salad, meatballs, and carpaccio—all were delicious. Moving on to the main course, we indulged in veal with vodka sauce, mozzarella cheese, and prosciutto. Each bite was a flavor explosion. We also tried the osso buco and parpadelle pasta, which were simply mouth-watering. Wine aficionados will be pleased with Runway 84's extensive wine selection. Whether you're into reds or whites, you're sure to find something that tickles your fancy. Service, overall, was quite good. Our server was attentive and kept things moving. However, this leads me to why I am giving a 4-star review instead of 5. While the server was efficient, at times it felt as though he was rushing us—pouring wine faster than we could keep up, giving the impression that he wanted to turn the table quickly. To wrap it up, if you're looking for fantastic Italian cuisine, a broad selection of wines, and an electrifying atmosphere with live music, Runway 84 is a solid choice. I'll definitely be back, and hopefully next time the service will align more with the pace of a leisurely, celebratory meal. Would I recommend Runway 84? Absolutely, but be prepared for a bustling scene and make your reservations in advance."
