"Fun! Do you need to be serenaded by an accordion while you eat? Do you need schnitzel? Do you need 60 Oz of beer? Look no further!! The food is unreal. The portions are huge. If you’re doing beers consider splitting one of the schnitzel dishes. Dinner comes with soup or salad, plus the meal with all sides included. They sometimes sell out of schnitzel (which is why you go imo), but the other food is respectable. You really can’t go wrong."

"You go here for old school German food and the semi friendly curt service. Germans don’t mess around suffering fools do they? Vast, choice selection of German beers on tap - it doesn’t get better than this for those who want to sample beer for the other side of the pond. The food is simply straight from the bowels of Old Bavaria. Wurst, potatoes, potato pancakes, Schnitzels, Lamb Shanks, red cabbage, pretzels, sauerbraten etc were mostly alright but it’s a far cry from what I remember it used to be. It was a bit lacking like it had lost a bit of its soul and felt like it was put together by a weary chef at a place slowly in the decline and living in the shade of its former glory days. The desserts were slightly lacking, I’ve definitely had better Apfel Strudel / Black Forest cake elsewhere but the Cheesecake was superb (freshly made on premises). This place could definitely use some sprucing up with fresh energy and reinvent itself to match the times."
