Sushi Sogo Japanese Restaurant 10000 Stirling Road, Cooper City, FL 33024

"Visited this restaurant Friday afternoon around 1:00pm. My daughter was very hungry and this restaurant has great reviews so we paid it a visit. We sat down and saw that there was one server who was also the host. My daughter was super hungry so I decided to stay despite the lack of staff. We sat for 15 minutes without being offered a menu… I told myself it’s ok, just be patient because there’s only one person waiting about 8 tables. Then I asked for a menu and he replied “one second”, in a frustrated tone. I figured the stress was getting to him so I once again talked myself down. We got our menus and waited another 10 minutes before noticing the waiter going to wait on tables who arrived after us. He didn’t come to our table once despite us waiting and being amongst the first to arrive. I understand the struggles of being short-staffed and I assume that this was just a bad day for them but I deserved the same treatment as the other tables who sat after us. Maybe it was just a blip but it was enough disrespect for me to walk out and not likely return."

It's a local place, with a nice sense of belonging. Give it a chance, and enjoy it. My family loves coming here, my friends like it here... They must be doing something right...."

"its been 2 years since we have visited this place as we moved, and theres a new owner and new renovations. however, ive never seen an owner who talks and is as nice and caring to customers. the place is gorgeous (also the bathrooms) and the food was still good. even though they took out our favourite jumping shrimp roll, we had the signature roll (asked for nori instead of soy paper) and the flavours were really good."
