"Unit B was an interesting but good experience. The only negative is there is no signage other than on the front door and no lights at night that shows the name of the place so we drove past it a few times even when GPS said we arrived. FYI it is across the street from Lime. The food, drinks and service all very good. I had the Salmon and others had different meats. All cooked well. Friendly staff and service. 2 people will run $100+ if you order drinks and appetizers, but a nice place to meet up with friends and loved ones."
"I went to Unit B Eatery + Spirits in Pembroke Pines, FL. Quoted:"Fashionable, intimate eatery...the restaurant's interior embraces the Unit B brand aesthetic with posh lighting, a time-lapse mural and chic furnishings. The restaurant’s New American small plate menu fuses international flavors and techniques while focusing on unique palate experiences." Super cute, cozy, intimate spot, eclectic cocktails, crowded and loud. I suggest reservations... expect an extremely long wait for.....everything! The bartenders are also servers. Good customer service, but it's just extremely slow. While viewing the menu, they specialize in beef ribs, other types of meats, and a couple of seafood dishes. APPETIZERS Argentinian Sausage - Two smoked sausages, pickled red onions, and honey apricot glaze. **This was delicious! The smokey flavor and homemade sausage burst with all kinds of flavors. Great paired with the glaze and pickled onions. Mini Open-Faced French Dips -Toasted Baguettes, thinly sliced prime rib, gruyere cheese, onion marmalade, and ah jus. **Had potential, but the flavor was so bland. Tender moist meat... Chicken and Cheese Empanada **Just like how it sounds. Boring! Mediocre flavor. My adventurous palate would have preferred and chosen the Short Rib Empanada --> 12 hour short ribs, smoked gouda, truffle oil, fried black beans, and bechamel sauce....See the difference? MAIN Beef Rib with Yucca Mash - Smoked Beef ribs, sweet chili, cilantro yucca mash, red pepper coulis, and crispy shallots **Extremely over seasoned, over cooked tough beef ribs. It was work trying to get the meat off the bone. I was shocked! I did not bother eating the other rib. The yucca mash had a nice smooth texture but no real flavor. I'm not sure about the cilantro flavor, but it wasn't bad. Seafood Safron Rissotto - Grilled half lobster tail, shrimp, chorizo, and mussels. **I was told that it was good. Sesame Grilled Salmon Kimchi fried rice, salmon filet, arugula, sweet chili oil, and crispy onions. **I was told that it was very good. DESSERT Did not bother. Rating: C+"
"What a great spot in the Pembroke Pines area! The food was great but we both liked the appetizers more than the main dish. The service is exceptionally well as they accommodated us even without a reservation on a Saturday night. Their appetizers are creative and so are their drinks. We went for dinner but this place is perfect for happy hour or a first date. I recommend as an appetizer the brisket end bao buns and the 1920s Havana to pair with them."
"Love love love this place. We went there for dinner. The ambiance is so sexy and warm. Love the red color and wall unit with the decor. It is just beautiful. I felt like I was in a cigar bar. The menu had so many items to choose from. We went there to celebrate a family member's birthday. I ordered the Oaxacan Chicken Spring Roll and Short Rib Empanadas for appetizers to share. For dinner I had the Churrasco which came with a yucca mash, grilled bok choy, scallion puree, and chimichurri. For my drink I ordered the Overcast Shadow which is charcoal coconut rum, chard lemon, agave, Aquafava, and raw ginger. I loved it so much I ordered 2. Their Time for you Babe was also delicious. I will have it the next time. Definitely a must try place if you're in Pembroke Pines. They have a 2nd location in Fort Lauderdale."
