"Overall good dinner. The service was kind, timely, and professional. The food was comforting and flavorful. A nice homecooked meal, and not as greasy as other cuban restaurants I have been to. My Pollo a la plancha was a little overcooked, and the flavor a bit tart. Also the mariquitas were stale, and the sauce did not help. Will be back for their daily specials, their fricasse de pollo was really good! Edit: there simple breakfast options are great! Cafecito was a little sweet, but the tres golpes was great! The plantain was not salty alllwing for the cheese, meat, and egg to really shine."
"The food here is delicious. The restaurant is clean and the staff is lovely. I order from them through DoorDash all the time and the food arrives incredibly fast and packaged perfectly. Their breakfast is very good too but they only have it on the weekends now. The fufu and the grilled vegetables are delicious! Favorites are definitely the vaca frita and the pollo al ajillo."
"The food is totally amazing!!!!! And the service is also amazing and there’s a beautiful familiar atmosphere"
"Man, I don’t know where to start. I see these great reviews on here and makes me think I’m crazy. Loved how clean and modern the restaurant was and how nice and attentive the staff was. Unfortunately, the food was as close to awful as you can get. I had the Bistec enpanizado and it was really over cooked, not to mention there was barely any steak inside. The beef was just about as thick as a slice of ham. It was all breading. My two sides were moró and Fufu de plátano. The moro was full of “raspa” and I don’t typically mind some raspa but nearly the entire rice was raspa and tasted stale and old as if, it were from the previous day. The fufu de plátano was probably the best thing I had. It was very good and flavorful. Feedback from others I was with: the arroz con pollo was very greasy and had a unique taste that made it taste odd. (I tried it). The chicken was dry and lacked flavor. The pork just didn’t taste fresh. But didn’t taste terrible. The rice was the same (burnt/dry) full of raspa. The tostones tasted like frozen tostones. The vaca frita was the most acceptable of all the dishes. The black beans and white rice were also not bad. I gave it two stars for the environment and the kindness of the staff. But I unfortunately won’t be coming back to this venue."
"Kind of empty place but don't let that fool you, the food was amazing. Also the lack of a big crowd probably is because this place just opened and is farther out from the main road. Glad we tried a new Cuban place. Much better than Las Vegas and Romeu's Cuban cuisine nearby IMO, the food was much better seasoned, esp the pork chuletas and ropa vieja, not plain at all. The mojo chicken was also bangin'. The yucca con mojo was just soft enough, not undercooked. Ernesto was attentive. Will come again!"
