"amazing school. attended 6-8 went here after moving from north port to venice made a "government" with some friends. had own name, laws, currencies even. the teachers here were very chill. they were also very good at their job. and the other staff were also really good for such a small school. would have attended in 9th grade, but they didnt have it that year. 5/5 school. would attend again"

"I was an 8th grader at SLA because I had heard about civil air patrol and was interested at the time. It is an good school but I definitely loved the teachers. Teachers and staff were very nice and tolerable people. The only complaint that I have is that the school is very small and does not have a gymnasium and gym class is usually outside when it sometimes is scorching hot. And another downside is the uniforms. It is a relatively short selection of clothing you can wear and sometimes you have to pay the school in fundraisers to wear your own choice of clothing. And lastly, SLA does not have their own buses, which means that they share buses with Venice high school and the SLA students have to sit in the front and sometimes it gets crowded. Other than those things, it is a good school to attend or tryout if you are interested."
