"We were 5 family members we purchased more than two hundred and sixty-five dollars hat afternoon. We paid for the dinners and after they gave us the receipt, they told us that we had to leave because there were people waiting for the tables. You never do that to customers, especially after spending that much money. It's so embarrassing. We will never go back to the hungry money place"

"A sweet mom and pop owned store with that family energy to fit. We had picarones and a box of alfajores and they were amazing. We also came in super close to closing but they still went out of their way to make sure we got fresh picarones, which they didn’t have to do. Overall we plan on returning to have more Peruvian snacks."

"The Jalea was hot, fresh and delicious. Didn't get the 5th star because the portion has gotten smaller from previous times and didn't come with the large Peruvian corn kernels, nor lime or lemon wedges. The waitress was friendly and accommodating and the bathroom was clean and well stocked... only downside is the parking which can be a bit dangerous seeing as Sylvia's was so packed that there is not enough parking spots. A real hole-in-the-wall treat!"
