"This isnt my real name i am just using an alias, but let me just say that farnell is a living hell to be in. most of the teachers that i have been forced into for credits(BTW I'm in 8th) don't or can't do their jobs properly. Although some can, there is no doubt that the majority is crappy. Secondly, the over baring amount of stress caused by one test determining your whole quarter grade or having HW assignments that are sometimes graded, and mostly arent, causes signs of depression to appear into children like me, you, and the whole population of students. It's so bad, that some people are actually trying to kill themselfs over all the stress, and although that sounds obsurred, it is true. Lastly, the schools actions against this behavior is completly nonexistent. they dont care about the students, and thats why we dont care about the school. Because the school just craps us out and makes us feel the need to do shady things or commit suicide or be depressed. If anyone reads this...just please go against the school and please end this horrible schools bad times. Farnell has a reputation that it so pleasantly jerks itself off to but has no proff that it really is. please for the love of god change the schools staff, or at least train them better, and actually make a good reputation for yourself. especially Mrs. Enis and Mr. Cobb. they need to grow up, stop with the self pride and stop the political agenda bs we've been told over 50 times this year alone (2017-2018). please do something... please."
"This school is okay. Its definetly not the best! I've been to way better schools coming from a kid who lived in the bad part of a bad state. The staff isn't helpful they don't inform u of much and most of the teachers are terrible. You have to have good luck go get good teachers in this school. My brother went here before me and he got good teachers but mine, not so much. The food is terrible and the lunch ladies hand u whatever"
"The way the administration at this school handles discipline is absurd. If your child has been in trouble in the past no matter what the situation if your child is involved in the incident at all they will be at fault and it turns into the good kids against the bad. Even if that means ignoring a harassment claim and punishing your student for a complete accident. You may think because its in a good area its a good school but that isn't always the case. My sons teachers have even ridiculed him to other students and made fun of him saying he was not smart and that they were dreading the next period because my son was in that class and nothing was done! As soon as this school year is done we want to find a different school ASAP, one that doesn't use my kid as the easy out in terms of placing blame when anything happens. Complete discrimination!"
"The school has definitely got downhill this 2013-14 school year. They lost a great AP Shelley Green and an excellent PTA President Michelle Mayfield. Now, parents do not receive emails, information on upcoming events, etc. They have some new teachers this year that are not up to par (won't mention names) and the students are not receiving the education they deserve that Farnell once had. Communication has gone downhill and bullying has become a problem. Children are even cutting themselves. Farnell was once a school that did not let anyone attend outside the school zone, now they are letting anyone come in and they has changed the school's level. Families pay good money to live in an upscale community to have a certain standard and now Farnell is just letting anyone attend. Furthermore, they even asked for families to give other families items for Christmas such as laptops, tablets, Van shoes, Aeropostle clothing, bikes, game systems, etc. I'm all for helping people in need but this was someone asking for luxury items. When talking about testing and scores, this school has gone downhill so much that they "curve" the scores on the exam BIG TIME. It's time to get your pride back Farnell. Or maybe parents should start looking into private schools if Farnell continues on this path."
"My son is an ESE student in Mrs. Jackson's 7th grade class. My son has excelled in this class and has improved his grades significantly, from B's and C's to straight A's. The atmosphere is great and he is very happy at this school. The staff is also really helpful in addressing parents concerns."
