"Ive never reviewed anything before but I'm making one today in hopes of saving people from a scam. I graduated this school with my diploma and all of my Certifications so I'm not just some guy who's mad because I field out of school. THIS SCHOOL IS A SCAM!!! First let's start with the financial aid department. There isn't a single person in that department who is willing to do their job. Remmy specifically has the mental fortitude of a gold fish when it comes to finance with an attitude worse than a 12 year old girl asked to do the dishes. The instructors at the school are amazing people but unfortunately don't have the Fred to teach there own classes. They fallow power points written by the school. The school advertised a 50 50 split between hands on worm and classroom work. That was just another lie it's about 90 percent death by powerpoint and 10 percent sitting in an un air-conditioned hanger watching the instructors try to figure out how there going to get there over sized class of 50 to 60 students to work on one airplane. The school is owned by an old who knows nothing about aviation and is run by two of the most insecure entitled humans I've ever had the displeasure of meeting, Boe and Ralph. Boe is a roided up head case who speaks to people with absolute disgust as if he's not a 5 foot 3 failed mechanic. Ralph on the other hand at first seemed to have some charisma but that was soon proven to be a front as I watched him try to instigate a fight with a student after an illegitimate test was given in class instead of doing his job and rectifying the issue. The schools IT department will do nothing to help you and their nit so great "social media" team will only post pictures of your graduation if your willing to have inappropriate relations with them. The school is hour based which means that any hour you miss, you will have to make up. Atleast this is the case for most people however special treatment is given if you happen to be please Ralph! Tuition is 60k for the amp program and that gets you about 15k of education everything else is self taught. Please do yourself a favor and spend your hard earned money elsewhere. I was raked over the coals so you don't have to."
"Hard work and Dedication will always pay off. I went to school back in NJ. Went into the field for 20 + years. Went back to my same school as an instructor for 7yrs. Became a FAA Safety Trainer and all I can say is simple hard work pays off in the end. Stay focused, follow the rules, take lots of notes and ask many questions. Aviation Careers are not a job, Its a lifestyle, because your life and families lives will change so much. After 3yrs in the field your not making over 125K a yr, Step back and ask yourself what do i need to do to get there.. Focus and learn, learn and learn from others. The greatest choice i ever made in my life. Many of my close friends are at 40 to 56 per hour. Plus O/T at time & 1/2 for first 8hrs then 2× the rest they work. 4 days on 3 days off. Fly all over the world, great benefits and retirement plan. Trust me get on it and start that training. Good luck to all of you who follow my lead and info. Stay safe and be well."
"I attended the 2-week refresher course here to take the written exams and prepare for the oral and practicals for an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification. Thanks to their expert assistance I passed everything the first time! I went on to work for an airline and ultimately became a base manager for an aircraft repair facility for Compass Airlines. The school was awesome and provided me with the knowledge I needed. I had military experience but knew almost nothing about General Aviation. The school filled in all the gaps for me."
"This school is as bad as a pyramid scheme. I enrolled, signed the financial contract nd then everything changed! You can’t get out of paying once u sign so if u don’t like it or life happens and u need to pause the program.. U owe 40k to them in debt, it doesn’t transfer to any other school and u can’t use federal aid to go to another school until it’s paid off. Ruined my life"
