"Front desk & office staff is great, but the teachers are terrible....English teacher can't even spell. I now have to transfer her to SPH and move. Disgusted!!"
"Horrible school graduated class or 2016 and there's just drugs drugs and more drugs. Also it didn't seem like the teachers really care about there's students they just want the day to be over just like the students."
"This place dosent care about people with disabilities.......the teachers try to fail you and say it as your fault.....drug deals are common here, fights happen everyday.....kids bring guns and knives to school....my own teacher who is trained to help help students with disabilities said "sorry i can't help you.....because you are a disability" there are some good teachers but with the history i had here the lack of communication between teachers students and parents. The computers here all have either a missing key problems connecting to the surver or flat out don't work. The graduation, test percentage is below the state god low standards and there are few to no programs for special needs students. Students with disabillities are bullied here so much and sometimes even receive death threats from all other students one i even heard was "retarded kids should be dead" and "they're all freaks and don't even matter" I think they're should be an investigation done on this school for the lack of dealing with the issues at hand and should change their way handling everything. Wouldn't recommend to the parents of students with low autism or any disabillities becuase of the lack of any services and sometimes even abusive teachers."
"I just graduated from this school. It was probably the worst experience ever. Administration isn't what they will make you believe they are. I walked with my class , paid for graduation fees and they left my name out of the graduation booklet. I went to the school June 10 to pick up my diploma and the administrator that shook my hand as I walked on stage didn't even recognize I graduated. Honestly Seminole High picks and chooses the children they want to care for. It's July 25 and I'm still waiting on a diploma. I've gotten verification that I am a graduate. The front service clerk hung up on me and told me she couldn't help me. My whole high school experience was terrible. I've called PCSB today and they are handling besides my experience I would not recommend anyone to put their child into this mess. Take advice from someone who just graduated from there and they didn't even know. I can only give respect to a few great staff members , Kennan , Lally , DeMuth , S. Miller , Washington , Smith. The school is infested with roaches one actually fell from the classroom ceiling my senior year."
"Seminole is by far the worst school. When I started my freshman year it was awesome. 4x4 scheduling, awesome grading scale, the testing was easy, and everyone was laid back. The teachers weren't pressured to be perfect for their "evaluations". They could actually focus on teaching the way they like to teach and how they found it worked the best. The school was an "A" school as well. Sophomore year was relatively the same, a few more rules and regulations but over all still laid back and fun while we learned. But Junior and Senior year were the absolute worst. We got thrown into a 7 period day schedule with no way to repair our grades if we bombed a class. The teachers were constantly concerned about their "reviews" so they did everything by the school board (which by the way, obviously, has no idea how to properly teach or how teenage minds work) curriculum. To be honest, because of that bull crap I don't remember much of what I "learned" those two years. Also, during my last two years at that school it felt like a prison. SO many rules. There was constantly someone breathing down your neck to make sure you weren't doing ANYTHING other than what was on the curriculum. No cell phones or Mp3 players (even during passing or lunch). They tried to regulate how often we were allowed to go to the bathroom and WHEN we could use the bathrooms. The school doesn't care about it's teachers and their opinions either. They treat their staff like garbage. The principal is an absolute moron and the assistant principals aren't any better. If you're looking to put your child into Seminole, DON'T. There are schools that are 10x better than Seminole. I can almost guarantee your child will hate it with a burning passion."
