"This place accepted my ambulance when every single hospital, including bayfront isnd Saint Anthony’s that were both 1 mile from my place were on diversion . All of a sudden when they were deciding to fly me somewhere Palms of Pasadena agreed to take me. I had a really bad stroke and they completely fixed me up over about three day! I love these people and I owe these people my life not to mention that the whole hospital was stuffed full of Covid patients to the point where they had run out of gowns, towels linens, etc. everybody just roasted occasion pinched in, and I’m sure worked way too many hours but it was appreciated at least by me. Thanks for everything."

"Neither I or my husband were patients at Palms of Pasadena Hospital. However, we were in the parking garage across the street for a doctor’s appointment when my husband had an emergency situation. A nurse was close by and went across the street to the hospital and brought him a wheelchair, then wheeled him to the hospital and put him in a room with a bathroom. I did not get her name, but I am so grateful for her. Another nurse named Val wheeled him back across the street and took him to his doctor’s office. Both these nurses deserve a huge thank you. I just had knee surgery and was walking with a cane so I couldn’t be of much help. Thank you so much to these two ladies!!"

"My adult daughter was referred by our family doctor on an emergency basis last night for what was thought to be an abdominal abscess. She had been in great pain for 4 days and then broke out with a hot, red rash. From the moment we got to the ER, everyone involved in her care worked quickly - within a half hour of arriving, she had blood work, an IV antibiotic hooked up, and an ultrasound done with a CAT scan lined up. The surgeon who saw her (Dr Brink) was wonderful - explained what he suspected and once the CAT scan confirmed it, immediately organized his surgical team and took her into surgery. So, within 4 hours of walking into the ER, she had all the tests, initial treatment and ultimately, successful surgery. I cannot express how grateful we were for the excellent care she received. The ER team, the surgical team, and the nurses on the 3rd floor all were so kind and caring. A bonus is how nice the room is - large, clean and well-equipped. It was a scary night with a serious emergency and we're grateful for all that was done."
