CAVA

"We tried this place for the first time. We really really liked it. The options are really good and healthy. We ordered a bowl each. Portions are good except for the protein, I think they could do a little more. The reason why we are giving it 4 starts is because of the protein portion and it seems like they were a bit understaffed in the front of the line. The lady that was at the register was doing a great job but she was also doing the toppings and dressings."

"I like the concept, but the price of a bowl has crept up rather quickly since they opened. Aside from the price, I think everything else is fine except for the desserts. I was disappointed to find out that the blondie is not much larger than the size of a postage stamp."

"Being within Winter Park, I knew there would be a chance I would not find parking, but I got lucky. While the line was full and the inside was busy, once I had my order, I located a seat and got down to eating. I asked for the spicy lamb meatball pita without the pickles this time ($14), and they did have lemonade ($3), which was good. The pita starts off all nice and neat, but halfway through the sauces, all threatened to spill out to make a massive mess. I was able to contain it better this time around since I had knowledge on my second visit, but my fingers did get a bit messy even though I had bundled the pita tightly. The atmosphere was busy, and the noise level was a bit high, but the place was packed with families enjoying their meals. I do wish they would clean up the tables and the piled up garbage bin. It was stacked high."

"I went to Cava today for the first time with one of my coworkers. We placed our order online at 12:40 pm and set up our pick up time for 1:15 pm. We waited well over 20 minutes for our order to be ready before I approached someone about an update o. It. The man who I spoke to was very rude and when I told him the name of the order he asked “Does she have a last name?” I felt upset because it just didn’t cross my mind for some silly reason to mention her name. He then said that our food was on the way, but instead we waited another 10 minutes for it. While the food turned out delicious, I had a little surprise in mine at the end. There was a chicken bone shard that cut my gums. I hope if I go next time that the staff is more kind and pleasant. The picture of the bone is below."

This place is amazing - definitely one of the best counter-serve bowl places around! Compared to other counter-serve bowl chain restaurants like Chipotle, for instance, CAVA is far superior…and it’s not even like it’s way more expensive! Everything tastes really fresh, there are lots of awesome Mediterranean-style meats to choose for your dish, great sauce choices, many different vegetables and grain options, and much more. It’s quick, reasonably-priced, and would be a great place to either get take-out or delivered from. CAVA is a great addition to Winter Park and a place I am sure you will enjoy!"
