The Porch

"10/28/23 We decided to try The Porch after spending the night in Orlando. We had to wait about 30 mins on a Saturday around 1. I don’t know if they claim sports bar/restaurant but they have TVs everywhere and had all the games on this Saturday. We aren’t huge football fans so this didn’t matter to us. They had a decent waiting area outside. They have outdoor seating but said it’s in direct sunlight and they had no shade and it’s hot there. Idk why a Florida place wouldn’t have shade for their outdoor seating. We were finally seated and it took about 5 mins before our server stopped by. I ordered the Nashville hot chicken and biscuit with fries. It was disappointing. Not spicy at all. I thought the honey butter was more of a sauce but it was butter with honey flavor I guess. The biscuit completely fell apart after two bites. The fries were interesting and some were more like chips. My boyfriend got the Hawaiian French toast. It was so tiny and you only get 4! He said they were ok but he wouldn’t order them again. Honestly not impressed with this place."

"I love this place for a casual dinner and beer! The staff is always pleasant and accommodating! I love sports and they always have a game on! But the true gem is the peel and eat shrimp! Hands down the best I’ve ever had, along with the Nashville hot sauce!"

"To me, this is one of the better locations ambiance wise, the crowd in this community is always of great energy, I always make new friends here . The staff has always been extremely friendly, everyone helps equally. The food is always great choice. the menu has a little bit of everything, including a great dessert option. Indoor/outdoor seating, plenty of TVs’, wrap around bar, very spacious."

"I came here around 5 P.M. Saturday for dinner after work. I sat at the Bar. There is outlet at the bar (huge plus). I ask the Bartender what was good on the menu and she recommended the Cuban. The food took very long and it was not even that busy with people ordering food. I could have had 3 beers by the time my food came out. The food was good. It was a over power pickle taste, but it was good. It was not to overly busy for a weekend which was nice. The atmosphere was relaxed. The bartender always filling my water every time I finished it, which was very nice as it is very hot outside. She check many times to see if I was good. I am please with her friendly services. I had a nice time."

"This place is so cute! Its like a beach sports bar vibe, definitely a younger crowd with some older mixed in. It’s literally like a porch it’s all open and airy with good music, even before the live singer. We ordered pig candy as an app and HIGHLY recommend it, thick cut bacon with Jack Daniels syrup, amazing! We then tried the Cuban with onion rings, they were fantastic. We also tried the Nashville hot chicken biscuit, while it had good flavor the chicken was sooo dry it was hard to eat. The smashed potatoes that came with it were good though. Really my only issue was that it took so long for our server to greet us at the table, and I think she was over sat, because she was running around when other servers we standing around. She was great when we saw her, I would’ve loved to have a couple extra drinks but never got a chance to order them. The prices are a great value for the quality you get, we will definitely be back to try other things on the menu as well as to see the nightlife."
