This lady is a premier professional if I had a choice I would always want to have her sled or someone like her. Be responsible for my care thank you nurse Lindsey your a God send."

"Have to admit, I’ve seen/heard some negative comments regarding UF Health, The Villages Hospital. Imagine my surprise that I would have utilized the hospital, since I just recently moved into the area. I suffered what turned out to be a minor medical episode while at a local restaurant in the Villages. I was shocked to learn that the rescue squad that had arrived was there for me…anyway, the guys from Station 41 (& 1 from 51 who was on overtime) could not have been any more compassionate and competent in their patient care of me. The guys even helped my wife program the hospital location into her maps so she could meet me at the hospital. Once at the hospital I was treated by a care team who did their absolute best to make me as comfortable as possible (thank you Cassandra and her team) I was seen by the attending physician Dr Spry, who was absolutely amazing. I was treated and released within a short period of time…I would have no hesitation at all in returning to this facility (although I hope I don’t have too)."

"I was asked to bring some items to the hospital for my sister. She was admitted with Covid as well as other illnesses. I was beyond shocked when I brought items in at 7:30 p.m. at night. There were absolutely no checkpoints. No on at the front desk at the hospital, the security guard was in the elevator and I asked where this room was and he gave me info., I walked passed the nursing station!!! Not one stop. I have worked in the hospital system in another state for 18 years and have never seen this type of behavior. We have checkpoint and stop point. I told the nurse in the hallway this is for my sister. She said go in her room!!! I have babies coming in tomorrow and I can’t go into a Covid room! I got in the car and told my husband “no way in hell will you ever put me in this place”. Terrible to say the least!!!! I would have been happy to write to you it is called “patient relations” but guess what… there is no such place to make a comment or complaint on your website. Sad that this needs to go on social media."

"My nurses, Rachel in the Emergency Room & Marco on the 2nd floor were amazing. They made sure I was informed & comfortable. I couldn’t have asked for better care. I’m grateful to both of them. Then Ronni (Ronicia) my tech went above and beyond to make sure that I had everything that I needed with a smile on her face. She has a great attitude and made my stay easier to handle. I can’t leave out James in the cafeteria. Ya Mon-Thank you for getting my meals to me also with a smile. Even Debbie the housekeeper was a blessing, very sweet & cleaned the room immaculately. I was there 11 days & was treated like a Queen. The doctors were very thorough & knowledgeable. This is definitely my hospital from now on- thank everyone!!☺️"

"I’m a new Villager and my oncologist is here. Everyone was friendly and professional. I didn’t have to wait hardly at all. It’s a beautiful building and they keep it clean. The nurses I met are great and they accommodate your needs above and beyond. My doc was knowledgeable and, when I wasn’t understanding, explained things to me. I especially love that I can get almost everything done here. I don’t have to drive around looking for an imaging center, etc. I will be back."
