"The chicken was raw and I spent an absorbent amount of time checking the chicken and having the staff insinuate that I had done something wrong. This meal was ordered through DoorDash. That is why I took pictures. Upon request from the restaurant, I submitted a picture of the chicken. About 15 minutes later, I received a call from the restaurant and they requested that I send a picture of each piece of chicken. I complied, but this was not necessary, given the first one I inspected was totally undercooked. Finally, the owner called. He was very apologetic and refunded me for that dish. We only had a problem with one dish. I clearly stated that it was only one dish."

"I think I liked the taste of the food served. It was much better than many established Indian restaurants in Florida. I rarely see a restaurant serving Bhature in its natural form. Most restaurants serve Poori in the name of Bhatura. So thumbs up for that. But I wish the Chhole being served with the Bhature were more authentic. They were no way near the authenticity. Overall, its a nice Indian restaurant in the neighborhood."

"Taste of India is our favorite Indian restaurant in Jacksonville. Chicken Tandoori is my favorite dish and have to order it each time we go. Also love the Lamb Rogan. We’ve tried multiple items on their menu and all were tasty and delicious. Pretty good coffee too. Highly recommended."

"Our first time here. We are very impressed with Taste of India. All the staff were friendly. Our waitress was awesome, very attentive. Food were delicious. We ordered chicken vindaloo, lamb curry, egg fried rice, samosa and garlic naan. All of us were satisfied. Very good price n generous portion. Definitely will be back! P.s. vindaloo n curry came with rice. Just didnt take pics of them."
