Brunina's Pizza & Pasta

"This is not one of the swank restaurants on fifth Avenue, but that is one of the reasons I like it. It’s perfect for an easy night away from the big crowds. All the food is delicious, but I especially love the pizza. So good. The service is a little spotty, but that’s pretty much anywhere these days. I didn’t love my margarita, but I guess I shouldn’t expect to at an Italian restaurant, lol. They serve bread and oil at no charge, and they have a nice sized menu. Overall, I’m a big fan. It’s one of those restaurants we make sure to visit at least once every time we come to Naples."

"I have to say- there were 2 singers while we were there who were amazing!! And I mean AMAZING. I could have stayed all night just to listen to them. The service was excellent! The food, on the other hand was ok at best. I had pasta with seafood- skimpy to say the least and dry. My partner had pasta with clam sauce which was ok- also skimpy. Not a fan of the food BUT the music was incredible!"

"Chicken Marsala sauce was runny and sugary. Chicken was tough Chicken Parmesan had a weird tank but chicken was tender. Very different from last time we were here. Used to love this place. Not crowded for season. Won’t be back"

"The service was terrible. The swordfish was like rubber, had to order something else. We had reservations for 5pm. We were given table by bar, no room. Asked to sit at table in center, was told we have to be done by 6:15. We couldn't understand the waitress, she didn't know what drinks were for happy hour, she had to ask someone. Staff came like 3 times to our table to tell us we had to be out by 6:15. Then the manager came and told us as well. When we left told him we would have been done sooner but had to wait for another meal. He said he didn't know that. They did give us 1 free mousse. I told the manager politely it was terrible. He said have a good night. SO RUDE!!!! I will never go there again and my friends asked me how it was."

"Bruninas as was recently recommended to me because I just so happened to share that was was craving lasagna! I Wish I could have given Bruninas 5 stars but unfortunately the seafood salad was lacking a bit of flavor and service was not so great….it was actually horrible. The seafood salad needed lemon in the worst way it was just too heavy on the oil. Our server was barely around but thankfully he had some help from the runners to pick up the slack they were amazing. Now enough of the complaints my lasagna was sooooo perfect! I have been craving it and haven't had it in ages and it was one to remember! Thank you Brunina!"
