MISSION BBQ is a patriotic institution located in Lakeland, Florida, that serves authentic, mouth-watering all-American food. Inspired by the best BBQ from around the country, MISSION BBQ is dedicated to honoring and supporting those who protect and serve our communities, including our military, veterans, police, firefighters, and first responders.
Since opening its doors in 2011, MISSION BBQ has donated over $25,000,000 to various charities and organizations that support our nation's heroes. The institution is committed to giving back to those who sacrifice so much for our country.
One of the values that MISSION BBQ holds dear is putting the needs of their team members first. General Manager Jimi, from Robinson, PA, is known for his selfless leadership and dedication to taking care of his teammates before himself. This commitment to his team has earned him the respect and admiration of those he works with.
In addition to serving delicious BBQ, MISSION BBQ also pays tribute to the brave individuals who have served our country, such as Tom Glenn, who was on the last helicopter to leave Saigon during Operation Frequent Wind in 1975. MISSION BBQ is a place where good food, community support, and patriotism come together to create a truly special dining experience.

"I love Mission BBQ. Arrived at 11:58am, just in time for the daily National Anthem at noon. I absolutely adore this place. The staff is always soooo friendly and helpful. The food is a little pricey but it’s worth it. Everything tastes so fresh. Cheesy potatoes were recommended by the staff today and they didn’t disappoint. The decor is great as well."

"The food is top class. The service is excellent. I had a pick up but waited in the Dunning area for a while. Place is clean and neat. And all the pictures of our Armed heroes makes the place special. Good price and one of the few restaurants left where you don’t have to pay service fee, general fee, charity fee and the normal tip. "Our first time here and we will be going back for sure. Very nice place and friendly people. Free dessert for veterans was so nice and Bella was so helpful with telling us about everything they offer. You can bring a picture of your military service to put on wall. Food was excellent everything we got was so good the banana pudding to the collard greens. Everything cooked fresh you can tell too! Manager came to say hi and told us everyday at noon they go outside for national anthem. Please go check it out! A++++"
