"I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the customer service I received at Burger King in the Walmart on US98 North in Lakeland on January 1st 2024 by an employee who would not give me his name but I was told later by another Burger King employee that his name is O'Brien. On this date, I visited the aforementioned Burger King location and encountered an employee named O'Brien, whose service was profoundly unsatisfactory. I have to emphasize that my experience significantly deviated from the standard of service I have come to expect from Burger King—a brand that I have consistently patronized over the years. I found O'Brien's demeanor to be dismissive and unprofessional, and as a result, I felt disrespected and undervalued as a customer. He even threatened to call police which I thought was hilarious since I did nothing wrong other than complain that the service was terrible. His lack of attentiveness and rudeness during my interaction marred what should have been a simple and pleasant dining experience. Moreover, O'Brien demonstrated a lack of understanding of basic customer service principles and exemplified behavior that is not in line with the values I associate with your esteemed brand. As a customer, I believe that the quality of service at a fast food establishment is just as important as the quality of the food, and I regret to say that O'Brien's conduct has tarnished the image I have of Burger King. I want to stress that my intention in writing this is not to single out individuals or cause any undue harm. Rather, it is to bring to your attention an incident that I believe warrants your consideration and reassessment of customer service practices at your Lakeland Walmart Burger King establishment. "Marybelle is the worst employee I have ever seen and certainly should not be on the front line. I asked for syrup. She said I need to buy something. I was. I was trying to buy syrup. She exploded saying I have to buy something. I was trying to BUY a pack of SYRUP! She then said I needed to go or she would call the police. I had not raised my voice or anything. I just stood there waiting for her to figure out I was simply trying to BUY a pack of SYRUP. This woman is nuts. Later I came back thinking there we clearly a misunderstanding and guess what. She was arguing with a different customer who was asking for a refund for the coffee order they screwed up. The guy was 73 years old and had had enough bad attitude from this clearly obnoxious woman who was apparently also the manager. Yep it was MARYBELLE! So I stood there and said "looks like you are having a bad day and taking it out on everyone." I asked her to apologize for her behavior and she just got worse. This woman should NOT be handling customers. This location always has customer service issues and I will never buy from them. I am from JACKSONVILLE which happens to be where BURGER KING started and have always supported this restaurant. Not anymote. This irritable, irrational idiot should be canned or moved to the grill as she clearly lacks the ability to handle customers in a respectful way. She goes from 0 to 100 in like no time and is bad for business and should not represent Burger King."
