"Went here by accident. After seeing the review for Canopy Road Cafe I decided to eat there. Unfortunately Canopy Road is not yet open. Next to it is Cali. I walked in thinking it was part of Canopy Road, since I did not see any sign on the front of the establishment. The hostess stand was just inside the door, though no one was there. Menus were on top of the stand which I examined waiting to be noticed. Interestingly the name (Cali) was nowhere to be found. Later I noticed it in tiny print at the bottom of one of the pages. Service was good. I'm not going to review the food in detail, as nothing on the menu is what I would normally order. An interesting place, just not my cup of tea."

"Cali exceeded my expectations! A solid 5-star experience. The food was exceptional, a creative twist on new American cuisine. I got the Mexican bowl and it was the best meal I have had in a while. There wasn’t a single dish in our table of 5 that wasn’t good. Brianna was our server and she was impeccable, making our visit truly enjoyable. We will 100% be coming back regularly. Highly recommended!"

"Overall, the food, atmosphere and service were pretty good. The staff was friendly and the dining area clean and presentable. Off the brunch menu, the Veggie Hash was ordered. It was fresh and flavorful, yet calling it hash was a stretch. From the regular menu, the Soo...Buff was a bit closer to the description listed on the menu. The blue cheese and buffalo sauce was abundant. The combination of flavors was excellent. The Granola French Toast was good in concept, yet the dish was served slightly under cooked. It was well coated in granola and when dipped in the ginger agave syrup, all prior criticisms disappeared quickly. CALI has an interesting menu and does a fairly good job with preparation. It's definitely a place worth trying."
