"Incredible dinner. Had a large party and everyone loved it. Great service, superb food. Could not recommend more"
"I recently had a family dinner at the Turf Club Bar in Disney Saratoga Springs on New Year Eve. We made a reservation for 4:50 pm, hoping to enjoy a memorable meal together. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of our expectations. Upon arrival, we promptly ordered our drinks and food. To our surprise, the appetizers arrived within five minutes, which initially seemed impressive. However, we soon realized that the soup was not hot at all. We immediately brought this to the attention of our waitress, who kindly took it back to the kitchen. Another waitress later brought a fresh bowl of soup, which was appreciated. While still enjoying our appetizers, around 10 minutes later all three of our main courses were brought to the table. This was quite frustrating as we had not finished our appetizers, leaving us with limited space on the table. Despite explicitly requesting our waitress to slow down the pace, it seemed as though the staff disregarded our request and rushed us through our meal. To make matters worse, the main courses were not even served hot. This lack of attention to detail further dampened our dining experience. Considering the price we paid for this dinner, we expected both exceptional service and quality food, but unfortunately, neither was delivered. Overall, we left the Turf Club Bar feeling extremely disappointed. We had hoped for a pleasant dining experience to celebrate the holiday, but instead, we encountered multiple issues that hindered our enjoyment. Considering the price point, we expected a higher level of service and better-prepared dishes. Regrettably, this was not the case. We sincerely hope that the Turf Club Bar takes this feedback into consideration and works towards improving their service and food quality. As a loyal Disney guest, it is disheartening to have such a subpar experience. We hope that future diners have a more enjoyable time at the Turf Club Bar."
"My party and I loved eating here! You have to drive ways to get to this restaurant but it's totally worth it. We ordered appetizers and entrees which were all delicious. We specifically got the grilled artichokes, the NY mussels and salad. For entrees, braised lamb tagliatelle, prime rib and pork chop. We were all in consensus that the appetizers were spot on! Close to perfect on each dish. Probably the sole complaint we would have is that the portions are too small. As for the entrees, the pork chop was cooked perfectly. The braised lamb tagliatelle was bit on the salty side but still delicious. Unfortunately, the prime rib that was served to one of our members was a bit on the chewy side. Overall, we highly recommend you try this place out!"
"Great service by our waiter, salmon was cooked really well crispy on the outside but still tender on inside. Steak was a little too done as had it medium, but they did offer to change but kept with it."
"I've never gone here before, even though I'm a DVC owner and this is my home resort. Based on the reviews and the fact that it had recently reopened after COVID-19, I made a decision to try it. Well, it was a so, so experience. It started off really good! I ordered New York Cider-braised Mussels as the appetizer and it was so good. Everything worked well together and the sauce had me soaking my bread in it. Alas, this is were the good ended. For entrées we ordered Grilled Pork Chop and Pan-seared Salmon. The salmon had no flavor and it was overcooked; flavorless. The little flavor it did have came from the sauce, but it was not enough to save the dish. As far as the pork chop, the best part of this plate was the sweet potato purée, tasty. The chop itself was ok. The cannellini beans had the look and consistency of refried beans. They definitely did not look anything like the picture on their website. For dessert we had Mango-Passion Fruit Crème Brûlée. Sounds delicious right? Except we could not taste any mango, passion fruit or much less, the crème brûlée itself. This was because the bottom of the vessel was covered with chocolate syrup; it completely took over the flavor profile. I basically ended up trying to skim whatever I could off the top. It will be a while before I try this restaurant again."
