"Sending our son to the Montessori Way School was one of the best choices we made all year. The transition to Pre-K, to a totally new environment, new kids and teachers was seamless. I cannot compliment the teaching and administration staff enough on their dedication to students, educational innovation, and optimism."
"Of all the private schools I could have sent my son to, the Montessori Way School has been top notch. We even considered moving to Lake Nona or Dr. Phillips for better educational options for our son, but after visiting the Montessori Way we were sold. Our son enrolled in their VPK program, and it prepared him immensely for Kindergarten. I have so many wonderful memories from this past year! The teachers could not be more competent, passionate, and prepared. All of their teachers and principals have been there for over a decade. They have this down to a science and are truly a class act. I feel so fortunate to have found this school and am forever grateful for the love of learning they have instilled in my son. It's a pretty small class size and feels like a tight knit community. The teachers are a huge blessing and the principal is the best. This school is a hidden gem and deserves more recognition!"
"Montessori Way school has been such a blessing for our family. My oldest, my daughter, originally went to a different school for her Pre-K year. We were debating on what school he wanted to put her for kindergarten. I always knew I wanted to put her in a Montessori school as I loved the concept. I knew this since she was a baby. We explored a few Montessori schools and almost settled for a different school but my daughter's VPK teacher mentioned she had done some training with one of the teachers from Montessori Way School and that she fully recommended the school. We decided to give it a shot, give them a call, and did a tour with Miss Rios from the primary class. We fell in love. The school is beautiful, very neat and organized, Miss Rios was so sweet, polite, welcoming, and I can go on and on about her. You would have to meet her to know how amazing she is. She gave us a feeling of comfort as my, four year old at the time, had developed anxiety beforehand. She joined Miss Rios' class and not too long after joining kindergarten, Miss Rios was able to make her feel happy and comfortable at the school. My daughter loves loves loves the school. She had a wonderful kindergarten experience. Then she moved on to the next class, the class is mixed age, first, second and third grade. She then also developed anxiety again as at the time she tended to become more anxiety prone with new things. Well her teachers did amazing, Miss Kaufman is amazing. My daughter always talks about how funny she is and how comfortable she makes her feel. It took her a few months to get fully comfortable again, not because of the school, but because my daughter just turns to lean towards anxiety. The teachers were very understanding and made her feel comfortable. They really went above and beyond to help her feel comfortable. It is such a good feeling when you know that your child's teachers truly care for your child's well-being. I was ecstatic to find out later on that the school goes up to 8th grade now and I definitely plan on keeping her there until 8th grade. She has made amazing friends and has amazing teachers and all the staff is amazing. We recently had a birthday party with some of her school friends invited and she took on a leader role that I did not know she had, something I imagine the school contributed to, as she used to be shy before going to this school. I've met some of the other teachers from the other building, as well as the teacher that she will be going to when she goes to fourth, fifth, and sixth grade. He is also amazing. I cannot rave enough about the school. Currently she is going to their summer camp and she also loves loves loves her summer camp teachers, Mr. Montero and Ms. Acuña. This school does an amazing job at choosing the teachers that they allow to enter into the children's educational setting. Not only do they make children comfortable but they are very easy to talk to as a parent. You can tell that they care and again, I cannot put in enough words how thankful I am that we found the school. Thank you, Montessori Way School, for being so amazing to my daughter. We look forward to many more years with you with Ari, maybe one day Ryder when he is older, and Valentina once she is of age for school!"
"We don't have good experience of this school and learned valuable lessons of selecting a private school. The reason we get dismissed is that kid drew on the desk, in the letter the school says " Intentional damaging school building". We educate the kids to draw on paper and listen to teachers' instructions. We also had a meeting with the teachers on Friday trying to better help and corporate, but on Monday we get the dismiss letter. Without prior notification. What we had was a shock. I am glad that after negotiation, we have two weeks of an online class to prepare for the transition of the new school. To be honest, our life turned upside down at that time. My husband and I need to stay at home to settle things down meanwhile looking for a new school In The Middle Of The Semester. All my family was anxious at that time including the kid. Overall experience for the school we felt excluded and upset. My kid learned nothing from there because we got tested by the new school. The level was much lower than the average and even lower than before going to this school. Fortunately, my kid caught up for now. The "valuable lesson" I learned not means economic. On the flip side without this experience, we couldn't better help the kids and found all the things up. I feel tremendous grateful that the new school accepts applications in the middle of the semester. And the most important thing is the kids like it and caught up on the classes in time. I feel public schools have enough teaching resources. They are more ready and willing to accept different students with international and diverse cultural backgrounds and personalities. And is under the management of the government education department. All above is based on our personal experience not apply to everyone. If your kids take preschool in there and then go to elementary,it might be different scenarios. Hope it will help other parents selecting a school for kids."
"We spent the past year at this wonderful school (on the Upper School campus) and I can't say enough about how special it is. Unlike many private schools, they keep their classes small and are selective about the students they admit, which creates a classroom environment that is peaceful but productive. There is a true ethic of kindness among the children (and their parents), and the parent community is simply fabulous. In addition to staying true to the Montessori method, they add many activities, such as a camping trip to Fort Wilderness and Model UN. I felt that my kids were safe, loved, and learning. Many thanks!"
