"This place does not respect owner with service dogs in training. Maxwell who has been in hospitals, in doctor offices, airplanes, temper tested, has his CGC, UGC, and acknowledged by Auborn School of veterinary and registered with AKC as a fully qualified service dog, placed his paws on the counter to see who was approaching me was told by a very angry lady to leave. I corrected him immediately and he laid down on the floor. THIS Still didn't satisfy the angry female Who claimed he was not a service dog. Well I have many professional that would disagree incuding his trainer, doctors I visit with him, hospitals I have been in, grocery store managers ect...Just because a dog does one thing you don't like just means the dog isstill learning, or that act was the dog doing his job.not that they are not a service dog. Also somethings the dog do is to make sure their owner is safe, have a male appear out of no where is something anybody would want to check out, especially a dog that is being trained for PTSD work and needs to know all people around owner is safe., Service dog could not see gentleman only heard noise and needed to check out to make sure owner was safe. He did not bark, growl, bare teeth get in anyone's way or keep anyone from going about their day, Angry lady was more disruptive than service dog. If my dog could break the counter which is her fear, then a 5 year old could stumble into it and break it, a mother placing her child on it could break it, and adult could trip into it and break it. The counter needs to be secured for everyone safety. I know big dogs are scary to some people, but he did nothing that should of been fearful and was under control at all times."
