"I went to Race Trac a few minutes ago to get a coffee. I walked up to the coffee station, picked up a cup and proceeded to get my coffee. When I went to the cashier I said did you guys got a new coffee machine? He said no, then rang up the order. I was told that the coffee cost $3.49, and I was like why so much? It is a Race Trac decaf, and he said, but you got the Costa coffee cup, and you are paying for the cup. I said, 'WHAT?! I'm paying over $3 for a coffee cup. He said yes. I said so help me make sense out of this nonsense. I am telling you that I mistakenly grabbed the Costa coffee cup, but it has Race Trac decaf in it, and you are telling me that I have to pay the Costa price because I used their cup. The cashier said yes. I said so, if I were to pour this coffee over into a Race Trac cup, I would pay $1.90, correct? The cashier said no, but the guy sitting behind him said yes. I said thank you, that's all I was asking. As I proceeded to the back to pour the coffee over, the guy who was packing the cigarettes behind the cashier started talking about me. The cashier was checking out someone else, and this customer started chuckling i guess he found the ish funny. So I walked up to the cashier in time to hear the end of his statement..." what you expect us to do if you can't see Costa written on the cup." I said, "I don't know what I expect you to do, but what I expect to do is pay the right price for the right item. All I did was grab the wrong coffee cup. He continued the argument, "How you ain't see the different color cups." I proceeded to raise my voice to match his and said, "BECAUSE I DID NOT." Oh well, I will not be returning to this gas station. It is a gas station that I frequent, and I have never met with this type of idiotic rhetoric. Clearly, this race trac is lacking intelligent employees. But their nasty behavior and attitude towards customers is going to cost them in the end. Sure one less person shopping there is not going to break the bank, but you just never know how."
"I went to this location twice to purchase an item that was posted as being on sale. Both times I was charged an incorrect price than was what posted. After realizing that they had charged me incorrectly, I notified the cashier immediately. She told me that she would have to void out the charge and ring everything back in and rolled her eyes. I asked to void out the transaction and just ring in the items at the correct price. She said that she could not do that. She went to her “supervisor” who was standing there the entire time and he said that he could not help me as he had gotten in trouble for voiding out a transaction recently. Every POS device has the ability to negate a charge and this was just pure laziness and poor customer service. I left quietly because it is not my nature to cause a scene or be rude and demanding. It isn’t even about the money. I could understand if the store was busy or if they were having an issue with the credit card machine but nearly $20 on each transaction was rather frustrating. I will be happy to take my business to a competitor that values the customer and honors the price posted and will no longer be visiting this location."
"This RaceTrac is ok. Wanted to get a pizza with half cheese and half pepperoni. The guy behind the pizza counter said, “Sorry, I can’t do that.” And just walked away. This guy was to lazy to do his job. We had to go over to Marcos. This place is also understaffed and not the cleanest."
"It’s exactly 9pm and the location is closed. All the doors are locked and there’s about 10 people outside waiting, most trying to get gas. This is the 3rd time this has happened in the last month. The great thing I can say is the staff has always been friendly and helpful."
"Clean, good costumer service, few comfy small food business at the plaza,."
