We eat a plant based diet and there were so many options that were already vegan or could be made vegan. Just need some vegan desserts! "Indulging in a culinary masterpiece at this high-end, authentic Mexican gem in downtown Gainesville was nothing short of extraordinary. The meticulously curated decor, handpicked for perfection, set the stage for a dining experience like no other. We started out with the appetizer trio, perfectly paired with the La Diablita margarita and a spicy Paloma. We ordered the smoky Rita and the visually stunning Bird of Youth for our second round of drinks which had a gorgeous presentation. As for the main courses, the chile relleno de camaron and hurrache were super flavorful and fresh. We had dessert featuring caramel empanadas, charcoal ice cream, and a berry topping, accompanied by a 37 espresso, sealed the evening with a sweet note. Our wait staff was super knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations and was very attentive. In every aspect, it was an exquisite dining affair, where each dish was a testament to culinary perfection. Highly recommend for an unparalleled experience."

"Consuelo is amazing! We had an absolutely wonderful dinner and our whole table left raving about the experience.  The place itself is beautifully appointed with comfortable seating. Every person we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The owners stopped by to check on us, and we enjoyed hearing more about how they had developed their menu and branding,  The food was AMAZING, and there were MANY vegan options--so many in fact that I'm planning my next visit already!  My spouse and I shared the vegan taquitos (potato), the huarache vegano, and the rajas con crema tacos (poblano filling with homemade tortillas!) To have options available where nothing is left out and no customization is required was awesome. Fresh, authentic, impeccable flavors and textures, and the drinks were awesome too.  I wish there were more stars to give.  We will be back soon!"
