"They were able to come out the same day I called. The tech sent a text with his photo in advance of arriving. He took pictures of what needed to be repaired and explained what he needed to do. Very thorough and professional."

"From the time Russell arrived at the front door he was extremely polite, exchanged some quick small talk, but mainly ready to get to the problem we were having. About 12 hours before he arrived our upstairs unit just stopped working. I wasn’t home at the time it quit, but my wife tried changing the batteries in the thermostat, flipped the breaker a few times, all with no results. She called me and I couldn’t tell her anything else to try. When I got home I went into the attic, went out and cleaned the unit, and around the unit with no results. My wife went to their website to see if she could request someone to come as soon as possible. Of course it’s the day we’re getting ready to have our coldest temperatures of the winter. Early this morning we got a callback saying that they could have someone here around 10:00am. Russell sent me a message introducing himself, and letting me know that he would be here at 8:30, and he was. Unfortunately for him after checking several things he explained that he was going to have to trace some wiring. It took two hours, but he found the problem, fixed it, and we will have a fully heated house for ourselves, and two of our grandsons that will be staying with us a few nights at the end of this coldest week of the winter. Thank you for your quick response, and thank you Russell for your tenacity in checking everything, and finding and fixing the problem. We have used Stiles several times, bought our last, downstairs, unit from them. We will continue to use them in the future!"
"I recommend everyone first read my review! I chose their service because of their 40 years of experience. However, this was the worst experience I've ever had with someone coming to my house for repairs. Their staff only inspected my water heater, failed to identify the real issue, and damaged the water heater's insulation. They charged a high repair fee and informed me that the water heater was fixed. But a week later, the water heater broke down again. Since it was the weekend, I had to try to fix it myself and eventually managed to do so, realizing how terrible the previous experience was. First, when I called them, I was told there would be an $80 assessment fee, which I thought was fine. Their staff inspected my home for an hour and then charged me $280, saying that the $80 assessment fee only covered half an hour. This was not mentioned when I called. Second, they did not clearly explain why they charged an additional $200. When I questioned their staff about the fee, they immediately reduced it by $100 without giving any reason, making me feel their charges were very arbitrary. Third, when I asked why they charged an extra $100, they explained it was for the assessment time exceeding half an hour and for fixing the water heater. In reality, they only inspected the water heater, did not carry out repairs, and did not identify the issue with it. Fourth, they told me the issue was with the breaker and suggested I replace it with a new one, quoting $264 for the breaker. I found their quote a bit over my budget, so I asked if I could buy and replace the breaker myself. They agreed, but their smile disappeared immediately. Later, I bought the same breaker from Home Depot for only $18, which made their quote seem ridiculous, and I understood why their smile vanished. Fifth, their staff directly cut open the water heater's insulation with a knife, damaging it. I later realized from a YouTube repair video that there was no need to cut the insulation. Sixth, the issue wasn't with the breaker but with a malfunctioning thermostat that damaged the breaker. After I replaced the thermostat myself, the water heater had no more issues, which made me doubt their staff's professionalism. In summary, their staff only inspected my water heater, failed to identify the real issue, and damaged the insulation, all while charging a high repair fee. I found this experience extremely unsatisfactory."
