"Goes out several times a day and stays out for long periods of time. It’s awful. It goes out every single day. You can chat with a representative online and then they will send a technician out. The technician always says everything is fine replaces a wire or something outside of the box and then says everything is fixed. And then later that night, it goes out again. Most of the time after you schedule the appointment with the technician you get a text from Century Link saying that everything’s been fixed and your ticket has been closed so you no longer need your appointment. Which is terrible because it won’t be working and they cancel the ticket on you unless you told him you want to keep it. This goes on and on and on it’s been years."

"This is by far the worst internet this side of the Mississippi. if I had the choice of using this service and sending mail via carrier pigeon, i'm pretty sure the carrier pigeon would be faster. If you need to send something acrost the ocean just write a note and put it in a bottle and throw it in the ocean, it will be there faster than this internet could do it. You could carve your message in a rock and would have better luck with someone finding that then this internet service actually working."

"I was a customer for 5 years because there are very few providers in my rural area. In the past few months my modem failed, which I had bought and since it couldn't be repaired I had to rent one from CenturyLink. There was a charge of $100 for the repair man to look at my modem and say you need a new modem. Ok he did have to come in the house to see it. He touched nothing. Within a month my monthly charge increased by $10 in addition to the modem rental. When I contacted CenturyLink they said " sorry but your charge is now $60/month plus $15 for the rental". I went shopping for a new provider and found a deal with Xfinity. To cancel my 8 days of service for April, CenturyLink is charging me $56. What a racket. Guess the CEO needs a new yacht."

"The tech that come out was great. When called for repair it stated I had a 120 minute wait. So I got on my computer chat for repair the lady told me it was a problem on my end after explaining twice that I lost services well as my neighbors after the tractor cut grass along the right away. So she scheduled me 4 days out from my lost of service. Even after I explained to her my medical issues and I need to have my service as soon as possible. The tech come took a look at the nid went dow the road ad found the damaged box."

"Well let me start by saying if you have absolutely any other option for internet please take it I can promise you it will be better then CenturyLink. I am only offered a 1.5mbps speed and that's barely enough to do anything this day and age. If they would upgrade there ancient copper lines maybe they could have some better ratings. There internet will constantly drop out and will stay out for hours on end and it's even worse if there is bad weather.forget calling a tech out. I called at tech out and was told there is nothing wrong with my internet and I'm to far out to even have service and if I call back they will disconnect my service for complaints.so I'm stuck with this terrible company and there terrible internet until something better comes along. Hopefully Starlink will put them out of business for good and people can finally have a good isp in rural areas."
