"I love the place I have been apart of the neighborhood since I was a kid. Never had any issues except that I have been here for the past three years and recently had to pay a $850 water bill that was in the last tenants name in which I didn't feel responsible for. There was a small water leak from a small pipe in the ground so like any one experienced in plumbing would do I tried to stop the leak myself to slow the leak. I then called the water authority.they sent the city of milner employee to falsely accused me of tampering with the meter which was not at all the case. They came and dug my entire back yard up to repair a 1"1/4 PVC line. Then proceeded to remove the meter the following day. So I called them back after paying the $850 thinking I would have my water reconnected but they said that I had to purchase an additional meter costing $1000 due to the meter having damages. Another statement that I was falsely accused of. I never touched the meter that was two feet away from said leak. Now I currently am stuck without water connection to my home. I forked out $800 why is the water department accusing me and holding me responsible for a meter that was installed new in July along with every other home in the park ...... they removed and damaged the meter and are holding me responsible I don't understand.how do I show my innocence.i do have pictures of the water departments hired contractors back in July installing the new meter and it being connected to my home."
