Presley Woods Apartments

Presley Woods Apartments is a unique institution located in the historic Kirkwood neighborhood of northeast Atlanta. Established in 1996, this 40-unit apartment community offers affordable housing for single, lower income adults. The apartments are fully furnished, with 20 units designated for formerly homeless adults with chronic mental illness and 20 units for lower income residents. Residents have access to a quiet, tree-shaded common area, laundry facility, reading room, and recreation room.

On-site services are provided by Community Friendship Inc., offering case management, resource connections, transportation assistance, and medication management. Thanks to grants from the Federal Home Loan Bank and Invest Atlanta, Presley Woods underwent a $1.0 million renovation in 2013, including remodeled units with energy efficient systems and new furnishings. The community is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for all residents.
